Well, the basics are working and I feel good!!
So today is another day that is goooood!!! I really feel good with this many solid days in a row!! I think it is 9 days now that I have been journaling here....and it is helping me a lot. So I will keep it up.
Isn't it funny how just looking backward to see what you were doing that made you successful would do. I know that what I am doing is very basic. But I have to say that it is pretty amazing how following the program, as designed, will get results. Yeah....I know. DUH!!! But that is okay. Perhaps we just need to keep banging our heads against a wall over and over again to get it. The thing that I have had that a lot of people don't is the ability to not give up on myself. Even when I have gone in the wrong direction for a while, I am able to make a u-turn (yes...Tatumsmom...this is stolen from your blog. Just take it as flattery...lol) and start going in the right one. I mean, I have to remember, I have maintained a majority of my loss since 2004. 2004!!! I mean, that in and of itself is a success, wouldn't you say?
But here I have been sitting in Comfyville. Not ready to go forward and see what another 10 pounds.....20 pounds....30 pounds will look like. I know this because I have been sitting around this weight for quite a while. Comfortable in my own skin where I am.....but always with the desire to move forward....just not with the drive.
But the drive is here and now I am taking it and running with it!!!

Well, that is all I have for you for now. :) There are a lot of people who are back on track and doing good things so I will say congrats to all of the great losers today!!! I will be joining you on Saturday!!!
