So that is the title that was partially suggested by another EPer (THANKS!!! lol)...and so I just added the 'and taking names' part. We are creative PIONEERS!! lol.
Okay...first things first...journal....(yes...I am crazy to let you all see into my food world...but it helps me so there you have it....)
Grapes 1c - 1 yogurt - 1 Cereal 1/2 cup - 1 (you will all notice a pattern here...same every day...fruit, yogurt, Kashi Go Lean...lol)
Lean Cuisine Sweedish Meatballs (yummy!!) - 6 (you will also see a patern here with the LC lunches...pretty standard for me too but I get variety in the different choices)
Total points for the day 26 Exercise - No formal exercise but my honey and I went on a nice walk last night to run a few errands....about 45 minute walk...I think that counts for something, right?? lol.)
On one of the errands I found a nice new water mug. I have been looking for one for quite a time now but have not been able to find it. So, when I saw this one, I was filled with GLEE because it was exactly what I wanted. It has a lid...plastic straw.....and ounce measurement on it...so I can measure how many ounces I have left to go. The ounces start at the top of the glass and go down so I can see how many I have left. It holds 64 ounces. Right now, I have only 26 left to go of this mug!! Yeay me!
So I am feeling really good about what I am doing. My revelation really helped me a lot and I actually feel like a normal person. Just focusing on the basics is something I know I should have figured out long ago...but sometimes we have to figure things out by ourselves...and no one can tell them to us. We have to find out on our own. Another friend of mine, who is at goal really and doing maintenance, is going through the same thing. We both had this similar revelation and since then, we have been doign great.
This is something that I feel I can sustain. I did it for over a year and a half when I lost the initial amount of weight. And all I did were these basics. So using the formula that I used before will get me similar results....and I feel happy that I am finally feeling like I am in such a good place.
And having all of my *~*~*~virtualfriends~*~*~*~ to support me is so very helpful!!
Onward and downward!

Consistent
At least your brekkie is consistent. You sound so much happier now, and that makes me happy. Remember the dress! The Dress! The Dress!
I have a cup like that. It's a WW cup that holds 64 ounces all labeled. It's how I keep track of my water. I like the idea of only weighing every 2 weeks. I need to weigh less often.
That's great you could get back to the basics and that cute water mug sound interesting. I like to know what it looks like and where we could get something like that. I think it would work for me when I go to the Y and my friend's house all day instead of a small water bottle.
I agreed with you that we need to figure things out ourselves sometimes. I've been learning how to count calories and as much as I hate it, I'm actually learning how much I've been consuming and didn't know it.
I eat the same breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the week. The only variety I get is at supper time. Of course weekend food varies, but I try to keep things as simple as possible. If I don't make my food intake routine, I have major trouble sticking to my plan. I think we're pretty much on the same wavelength on that front. I'm glad it's working for you.
Kudos on the water intake - whatever makes it fun and easy to do is super! I'm thrilled to see you're on track and have someone to look to for extra motivation. We all need flesh and blood weightloss buddies, too.
Back 2 Basics! I'm glad to see that you got your mojo back. If you find mine, can you send it over? LOL Actually, I've just been so freakin' busy that I have barely had time to exercise or even eat! I am starving by dinner time but then after a few bites, I'm full. I've been eating Brown Cow yogurt for breakfast every morning, though. And taking my 20 oz metal water bottle with me everywhere. I love it cuz it keeps the water really cold. Oh, hey, I'm excited about that new diet coke...I saw an ad for it...can't wait to try some!
