Well, I haven't been posting much, because not much has been happening! I have now lost 17 pounds, but the scale doesn't seem to want to move anymore. I thought that maybe it was broken and I should get a new one- like maybe the dial was stuck or something. But it's a digital, so I doubt that's the problem. My doctor said that I could slowly go back to my normal activities, like jogging. I am excited, but also kinda nervous that I'll hurt it again! Anyone have any tips about getting back into running after an injury? I have been eating around 1200 calories a day. I don't want to eat less than that, but I want to lose some weight, too, and I have been exercising quite a bit. Sigh. Any tips to re-jump-start weight loss? I need some advice! I am getting nervous about the wedding at the end of July. I really want to look good. I never ever ever wear dresses or even anything sleeveless but would love to wear a cute, summery outfit. I'm usually the girl in jeans when it's 110 degrees out. Anyone have any advice on a cute summer wedding outfit? Thanks everyone, keep up the good work!

Thanks :)
Hi, I just wanted to thank you for your comment and sharing of your similar story! It is nice to know that someone is actually reading out there- I think that will help me stay more accountable :) As for your weight loss plateau, I think you should maybe try to hit 1500 calories for a day or two, and get your metabolism re-started. Also, I think the bike riding is a great idea and much better for your joints and muscles than running. I try to ride a bike for twice the amount of time I would run, and I find it so much more enjoyable. Also, I do pilates which I find extremely helpful. Windsor pilates has a 20 minute DVD which is awesome for your abs. I try to do that in the morning and then some kind of cardio in the evening.
Congratulations on everything you have achieved so far! Don't forget about what you have already achieved when you get discouraged :)
Let's keep commenting and keep each other motivated!
I read your latest post after I posted. I would suggest an elliptical. My husband had ankle surgery two times and the elliptical seems to work the best. No hard pressure.
Thank you for your comment and welcoming. I talked to someone about the emotional eating but was long time ago. I think I can fix that but I need some work on it, you know? Keep up the good job!!! how is your 1200 diet going? Hope is good!

drinking lots (100 oz) of water is supposed to be great for wt loss. also, tuna is supposed to be good, too. if you eat fruit, try not to eat it after 430 pm. also, v-necks are really flattering on everyone and they draw the eye up to the face! LL
