Hey Everybody!
Hi! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! I have now lost 16 pounds, so that is a really good start, I think. Back, in the 160's- just can't wait to be in the 150's again! My ankle is still healing so I have been riding my bike with my dogs. And gardening, that's gotta burn some calories! I think tonight I will bike to the next town and back- that would be about 14 miles or so. We'll see if I feel ambitious and what the weather is like. Well, last weekend I did go out of town and ate like a maniac- We had to go out to eat for every meal! I swear, I had to have the big pasta dish with the cream sauce, the bread with dipping oil and the Italian soda! I was threatened with bodily injury! Okay, that's not true. I didn't even enjoy it all that much. It was kinda like that from Friday through Sunday. Bleh. Bagels with cream cheese every morning from the continental breakfast? Probably not the best choice. Plus, 2 daquiris Friday night and a few beers on Saturday night. Oh, well, I am back on track now, so that's what matters. My BF ran in a race so now he's even more motivated to run, and I'm jealous that I can't! I am really proud of him, though. Since last February he has lost 100 pounds, completely changed his eating habits (fast food used to be his one and only food group) and has went from no exercise to running 6.5 miles in a race! I am really proud of him. Now it's my turn to lose my extra pounds! I think that I have it in my head that I need to eat a lot more than I really need to.
