What a Crappy Weekend!

Well, first of all, thank you to everyone who sent such nice comments- I really appreciate it and they have been very encouraging to me! Second, I hope wherever you are you are enjoying better weather than we are in the north! I guess I can't complain too much, as I didn't have to go to work yesterday bec ause of the weather! On the other hand, I did spend alot of time on the couch this weekend and probably ate a bit more than I should have... oops. I made some homemade food and you know, if it's homemade, it has far less calories than something you buy... right? I think tonight I will make a huge pot of vegetable soup. Yum! Can I add whole wheat dumplings, or would that just ruin my good soup intentions? Also, I don't know what you all do for a sweet tooth, but my favorite thing is to take a banana and slice it up into a bowl. Then, put it into the fridge or freezer until it's nice and cold but not frozen. Then, pour on some Hershey's syrup! It is soooo good- maybe better than ice cream, except no guilt. And my favorite snack from the weekend- homemade hummus on a whole wheat Wasa cracker. Delicious!
