How many times does it take?
Today, as I say everyday I am going to do the right thing and watch what I eat today. However, I do start out very well, then evening comes around and I go insane. I do not know what overtakes me that I continue to eat everything until I get ready for bed. It makes me sooo sad because the eating controls me, not me controlling the food. I have struggle for so long. Any support or ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hi!
Evening is ALWAYS the worst! My favorite suggestion? Invest in an air popper and make popcorn (whole grain snack!) as an evening snack. Make it in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and use the iodine in the salt an excuse to load up on sodium for the night (Hey, if it's all healthy it won't taste good!).
Another good suggestion? Keep blogging. We're all in the same boat here, and you might just find some life-long internet friends. Tell us what you're feeling and we'll tell you what worked for us.
Good luck on your goals. When you have a good weigh in, make a big deal about it. When you have a bad weigh in, ignore it and remember what all you lose the REST of that week. Work on more than just your weight, learn to love yourself from the inside out, and weight loss, dieting, and exercise will actually seem easier. I promise!

Welcome
Hi Becky,
Bridget has some great suggestions. Yup evenings bad!. My suggestion would be not to eat after 8 pm and make sure you get an evening snack in and drink lots of water.
Take it a few steps at a time. Do small things they all add up. Make sure you eat your snacks and don't let yourself get hungry. If you are feeling hungry then you will tend to eat everything around you, at least I do. It isn't about 3 meals a day, it is about 6. Sounds crazy but you will not be hungry and you will feel refreshed and YOU WILL lose the weight. Stick to blogging here. I find for me it helps me stay focused and it is a great support group.
Good Luck and YOU CAN do it...
hugs
Kimber
