My Photos

Before After

horrid

I just saw pictures of myself from my birthday party.... and i look so unbelievably HUGE i don't even know what to say. Seriously though... like someone would say "wow, now she is a big girl...". I really didn't think I was that big. I basically was so depressed today I just ate myself into oblivion.

(((hugs)))

I know how you feel. I just saw some photos of a wedding I went to at the weekend and had a similar reaction. Particularly if we have been slim in the past, our mind wants to hold on to that image of ourselves. When we look in the mirror, that's what we see.

HOWEVER...you are a really beautiful girl. You look fantastic. I know you want to lose weight, but no one is thinking you look bad.

Pull yourself up and just do something small tomorrow to make yourself feel good...a healthy meal, a workout...a manicure : )

It's a girl thing

I think we all go through times where we feel as if we are too big in certain pictures.  Just tell yourself that you are going to look FAB-U-LOUS in the next pic because you are doing something about the weight.   Glad you were able to find some jeans that work for you.  I don't spend alot on jeans either and although I am African American I don't have enough backside for the Apple Bottoms.  I can usually find some stretch Levi's in (don't laugh) Wal-Mart for like $25 bucks and girls my size or larger always ask where do I find my jeans.  LOL

Awe, sweetie

give yourself a big hug for me.  Let this be motivation for you to try harder.  Turn it into a positive.

It was the dreadful pictures of 2005 Christmas that kicked my butt into gear.

you can do it!  Just take baby steps.  Work at one goal at a time and add a new one every time you master one small change.

We're here for you cheering you on!!
