BFL Day 4: I SWAM 1.8 MILES
so I went to work early this morning so I could swim for a little bit.... i was planning a 20 minute swim BUT after the first 20 minutes, no one was at the pool yet, so i decided to swim some more.... and then before I knew it, I had swam for 1 hour and 140 laps! That is 1.8 miles. craziness. I probably havn't done that in about a year so I was really excited. I am so proud of myself.

Way to go! That sounds like a great workout - I think you've inspired me to do my running as well as my strength training tonight. Thanks for the motivation - and keep up the great work!

Thanks for the tip- to be honest I haven't ever been swimming for exercise... terrible, I know. I just don't know how to do it. I have never been "taught" how to swim with any sort of form- I can prevent myself from drowning, but that is about it. Do you know of anywhere that I would be able to learn? I did some research and you were absoluetly right about swimming being an amazing exercise choice for me.

Awesome
You really pushed yourself. I LOVE swimming as a cardio. I am lucky I have an in door pool at my gym. Its wouderful.
