so i'm half way done with my BFL Challenge!! I've only lost about 7 lbs in the past 6 weeks, but I just took some pictures today and compared them to my "before" pictures and I can really see a difference! I posted them on here if you want to take a look.... I wish they were bigger so you could see them better, but you'll get the point. My bodyfat percentage went from 44.1% to 37.3% (It's not so accurate but I am using the same source ever time so it is relative) and i've lost a total of 15.6 inches from my bicept, chest, waist (true waist), stomach (measured around my belly button), hips, thighs, and calves.
Now I have just got to keep my eye on the prize and stay motivated. I still have a lot of work to do so I am just going to buckle down and do it!
M1: protein smoothie w/ chocolate whey powder and a banana M2: 3/4 cup brown rice, 1 tsp oil, veggies, and one egg. M3: whole wheat tortilla, low fat cheese, and smoked salmon. M4: jelly beans (nothing nutritous about them AT ALL, just empty calories that I didnt need) and granola bar. M5: slim fast bar M6: oatmeal
Total: about 1320 calories
Workout: HIIT and one hour walk

Holy Smokes!!!
WOW!
Doing the happy dance for you!
You're only 1/2 way through, and you can see so much change!
You can really see a difference! How encouraging ... I really must get my OH to take some pics of me. Well done for getting this far, you're doing really well.
...this challange I am going to do the side by side pictures like that.
I love how you are share that the scale hasn't moved much, but it is so OBVIOUS that your body is LIFTING up and changing. (transforming) Your belly is really getting smaller.
Keep up the great work Jessica. You really are doing AWESOME!!!
Yup, I'm a veggie (that's what my dad calls me!). I found a few links which said that you could sub out tofu, soy, and stuff like that for the proteins so that's what I've been doing (I don't eat fish). I will give you some links. Though I have eaten so much cottage cheese the last few days. Haha! It's a good thing I like it!
Food Plan FAQ Savvy Vegetarian - Be careful with this one, because she says to put beans with protiens but the book says not to, so I don't know how much of this page to trust Yahoo! BFL Vegan Group - haven't gone through this one yet
I was wondering if you were doing the regular BFL, or the BFL for women? And also, are you using the BFL journal? I'm interested in finding out more about it. Do you recommend BFL so far? Thanks!
I am so motivated by your sucess! I didn't realize that people could sculpt their body like that! You really make me want to get into shape... not just lose weight! Your pictures are amazing and you are so beautiful... you should be very pround of yourself and I hope you stick to this blog. I would love to keep reading in the future!
