IM MOVING TO LONDON!!!
well, i'm moving to London in september.. it is officially official lol. I just sent in all my papers today. I am so unbelievable excited and part of me can't believe that I am doing this. I really think that since I've started BFL I have become a stronger and more independent person. Not just because I look better do I have confidence, but I really have taken control of my life in all aspects. I cook for myself, I do my own chores, I dont feel obligated to hang out with my boyfriend as much (I need my "me time" before I can have "us time"), I've learned to manage my time (well not totally, but im better at it at least) which has earned me all A's in school... I mean honestly, my life has totally just turned around from even 6 weeks ago. 6 weeks ago studying abroad wasn't even an option, actually, it wasn't even an idea. And now I am going to move away on my own with a bunch of people I dont know AND I AM TOTALLY EXCITED ABOUT IT. I am going to spend a week in Paris, 13 weeks in London (with a week vacation to Greece), and then my plan is to move to Amsterdam once the semester is over and work and stay another month there.
This does kind of deter my weight loss goals, my plan was to do 3 BFL challenges this year to reach my goal (126 lbs) by new years. Part of me thinks that I should just be focusing on each 12 week at a time.... but I think it is always good to look ahead. I don't think it will be realistic to give 100% to the BFL lifestyle when I am in Europe (haha, I actually don't know how much i'll eat there actually, apparently they are not very vegetarian friendly from what I hear). Anyways, so here is my plan....
1. Finish Challenge #1 on June 1st, 2008.
2. Maintain my weight from June 2nd 2008-June 22nd 2008 (I will be in Disney World on Vacation then)
3. Start my second Challenge June 23, 2008 until September 6th (the day I leave for Paris)
4. Maintain my weight from September 7th 2008- January 1, 2009
5. Start my third challenge January 2, 2009 and end early April 2009 to reach my Goal :)
6. Maintain for the rest of my life lol
I think the point of my plan is really to remind me that even when I am not doing a Challenge, I still have to work at maintaining and not let all my hard work go down the drain. I will always have a problem with food, even after I lose all the weight I want to, and this is really a lifelong thing that I have to deal with and be conscious of every day.
