Bad gym day
I had a bad start to the week, after a bad weekend. I came off course yet again over the weekend. My weight has sky rocketed, much more than I expected. I got to the gym early this morning as C left for work early, and I forgot to have anything to eat before I left. So, when I started running, the combination of bad diet and lack of energy got the better of me. I only ran for 5 minutes total, I finished the first set, then had to walk for 3 minutes, then ran for 2 and walked to reach 1.12 miles at a fast pace. But...I did complete the rest of my session well. I did my rowing well, and even did an extra set on the elliptical.
I am DETERMINED not to go off track again, I cannot keep doing this to myself.

8 minutes!!!!
I ran for 8 minutes today on the treadmill!!!
And I ran 1.12 overall, so things are improving! My rowing distance lowered, but I guess I can live with that, and it was only a matter of a few meters short.
I had a chat with Tony, one of the instructors afterwards, I told him I was doing the race for life in june and how I am doing with my training. He gave me a few tips, including stop putting the incline down when I run. He told me that it will be more accurate, and no road is a perfect 0%. He also told me to aim for 6Kms in my training, he said as a marathon runner, he could do more than the set distance as you bob and weave around. The most important two pieces of info were, one, try walking in the pool to build up the strength in my knees, because of my weight it will help as for every 1lb of weight I carry, its actually 3lb on my knees when I run. And two, maybe start running outside for a bit of variety. He told me that the gyms front door to the end of the hall's driveway and back is exactly 1 mile, so maybe I will have a go at that one day.
Food wise, another set back last night. C suprised me and came home a day early from work, which for great as of course it was St. Valentines, but it did put dinner plans in a spin. We had a drink at the pub, and because dinner would be at least an hour to cook, we got fish and chips........Not good. So overall, I have had a really bad week. I need to give myself a slap, literally and stop this stupid behaviour. Its going to spiral out of control if I dont.

running achievement
I ran for just under seven minutes today. 6 minutes 50 seconds. I walked for 2 minutes forst of all, as usual, then just ran for as long as I could. I covered the monitor with a towel to stop me from looking at it. I tend to do that a lot, and I think its a bad habit. I then walked for 4 minutes to recover, and ran the last 2 minutes, and did 1.09 miles total.
This morning I weighed 108.6Kg, that was a shocker. Down a kilo over night.

I forgot to tell you.....
...yesterday, my treadmill work got to an overall....10.10 miles!
wooohoooo!!!
And today, I did the aqua aerobics class...in my new costume, and I didn't have to worry about falling out of it!!!! I have also done my half hour bike ride on level 5, that got me sweating!
I am sure there was something else I was going to write about tonight, but for the life of me I cannot remember what it was.......

BMI
So, I just downloaded a new widget onto my dashboard, its a BMI calculator, so I can keep an eye on it as, hopefully, it goes down!
Today it says my BMI is 36.8, not exactly brilliant, but another one said it was 39 when i started, but maybe they all differ a little bit.

Sunday morning breakfast
I am determined not to go off points this sunday, like the last couple of weeks, but I do love a cooked breakfast.
So....I had two poached eggs, two rashers of WW bacon, two slices of WW bread and a small sausage. Altogether that makes 8 points. A lot for one breakfast, but hey, once a week.....
Also, good news on the scales.....down another kilo, woooo-hooooo!

Yet another 1.08
hehehehehe!
I did a full workout this morning which was great, I left sweaty and red faced as usual, but I did notice I recovered faster though. :)
Still no change on the scales, but my work trousers are definately getting baggy, my shirt too.

Back on track
I went to the gym this morning after doing a few chores and a trip into town. I did my treadmill workout, but on the last set I did 3 minutes and 2 minutes run, but strangely, I still did 1.08 miles. Can't figure that one out. Anyway, I also did the rest of my set, so I really pleased with myself. Now I have just done my cycling, and I did my 30 minutes on level 5, and man it killed!!!!

I didn't go to the gym...
...but I did exercise at home. I have done one hours cycling at level four, btw I think I need to up it to level 5 now, and 300 sit ups. 200 were normal, and 50 on either side.
I couldn't be bothered to go to the gym incase it was still closed, a lame excuse, but an excuse none the less.

I fell off that wagon again....
yep, and it hurt.
I did go to my aqua aerobics class yesterday, but I didn't go to the gym on monday. I felt quite sick on and off, and I even took a pregnancy test thinking it could be a symptom, but no. Aunt Flo came yesterday, right on time as normal. Then I went to the gym today, and it was closed. I knew they would be closed this morning as per usual on the forst wednesday of the month, but I went at a quarter to one. Mighty peeved now. I feel like I need to get back into the routine to stay on track diet wise. I could go this afternoon I guess, but we'll see. I do feel stronger today though, I can keep on track.
