Dropped a stitch
I had to settle with 5 sets on the treadmill today, I got a stitch during the end the set 5, and just couldn't do the sixth, so I walked it instead. Dissapointing but hey, what can you do?
I did go for a swim as well though, so that was good, oh and I got 1922 meters on the rower, my best yet, and on level 4 as well. I probably had a boost as I didn't do that last set!
And my weight dropped a lot overnight again, I retested a couple of times, but it didn't budge!!

Couch to 5K progress report
at the end of each session, I have completed week one, and today I moved onto week two. I am still looking like a very sweaty beetroot but hey, I am finishing it each day. I had a twinge in my right ankle this morning, but I think that is more to do with landing funny rather than anything more sinister. I do need to make the effort to go in the pool more often to walk though, it does help with my knee, and I don't want it to get worse.
I lost about a kilo overnight! I weighed myself when I got up, and it had dropped to 107.1 which nearly made me keel over. But then I "emptied myself" and it went up, go figure!! So I went with the higher weight of 107.5kg, just to be cautious.
I am determined to get rid of as much weight as possible before I see the family on Sunday for mothers day, go I'll lay off the chocolate bourbons!! I have been good though, I did go over by 2.5 pts on monday but I made that up on tuesday so no guilt pangs there!
Right, off for 0 points soup for lunch! Carrot and Squash soup with a bit of curry powder, nice!

Improvised Gym Session
Well, I couldn't do my rowing today as one of the rowers was out of action, so I made it up by doing 20 minutes on the eliptical. Actually it was a nice change.
Nothing else, just a quick, and boring little post today!
Oh, but I did stick to the diet over the weekend!!!!!!!!
See, I can do it!

Debating
I am debating whether or not to do the mini triathalon at the gym for Sport Relief. I am not fussed about raising the money, sounds harsh but I am going to be asking for sponsorship for the race for life so I dont want to bug people too much, but its the curiosityto how long it would take me.
The main reason for not doing it is its on a saturday so I am working, but its still bugging me.

Bonus day at the gym
As I have the weekend off work, I went to the gym. I not only did over an hour in there, but I went in the pool as well. I didn't swim that much, but I did do some walking in there to build up some strength in my knee. It was rather nice actually, as dh was home I could take my time, and even had a nice long shower there as opposed to my usual dash home. Now I am home and enjoying a lovely cuppa!

Day two of C25K
I did it for a second day. I did find it a little tougher, but I have two excuses for that. Firstly, I forgot to have any breakfast, So I was lacking in fuel, and secondly I am sure the gyms air con wasn't on, it was warm in there to start with.
I did 40 minutes on the bike last night at level 5, so that is going to be my nnew daily routine for the afternoons.

Fresh start
Well, after hearing about "Couch to 5K" on a message board, I thought I'd give it a go. So, I downloaded the podcasts and began this morning. Week one has me doing five minutes brisk walking, then 1 minute running, 90 second brisk walking and repeating it 8 times and ending with another 5 minute brisk walk. I am doing it all on the 2% incline so it can only get better.
I think I needed a fresh start, trying to jump like that straight up to where I was before I got my wrist slapped! Plus I doubled my treadmill time, so thats a bonus.

my instructor is trying to kill me
I swear, he is. I wrote the other day that he scolded me for putting the treadmill incline down to 0% when I run. Well, yesterday and today I have left it at 2%.
IT HURTS.
I tell you, I just can't do it. I can't yet do my normal set let alone run for as long as I can. I just managed to reach 3 minutes for the first set today, but on the second and thrid I only managed two and a half. On the plus side I know it is doing me good, but geez, it hurts right now!
I decided that as I was a bit hyper this morning I would go into the gym before my aqua class, by the time I got there though I only had time for the treadmill work with the warm up and cool down. But hey, it is better than nothing.
