whoopise!

oops! I just ate a chocolate bar thinking I had saved enough points.....except that  I forgot to double the points! I had to halve them to find out what it was. Doh! I guess I need to run over into tomorrows points. Its only 1.5 though so it could be a lot worse!

Progress Report

Well its day 2 of the fresh start and its going rather well. I took the dogs out for a good long walk at 5.30 this morning and even jogged with them for almost half way. The stupid part is that even though i wore my Nike gear, I forgot to start it! Doh! Never mind. Then I came home and cycled 10 miles on the bike (16.2km) and did 500 sit ups.

I weighed myself this morning, though it was after all my exercising so I'm not sure how accurate it is. I weighed 3 times because I didn't believe them the first time around. I got 102.6, 102.2 and 102.4 so I went with the mean. A good loss considering I was 103.9 on Saturday!

Oh, and I did another 6km's last night so that meant I did 22km/13.5miles yesterday on the bike.

I will, I will, I will...

...stay on track! After 3 weeks off the diet and exercise wagon, I am back on!

This mornings dog walk went up the swanny when dh went to work late, but I have been to the gym quickly and tried to do my run. I say try as it didn't go so well, I did 10 minutes and then another 5, so overall it was ok I guess. I also did my usual 4K on the rower. Then I came home and did 45 mins/16 kilometers on the bike and 500 sit ups.

Exercises

I had a busy day yesterday, I went to the gym in the afternoon, then came home and did 500 sit ups and 45 minutes on the bike doing about 18 kilometers.

This morning I got up at five and took the dogs on an hour long walk around the farms. They were well behaved actually, bit of a surpirise there!

I don't think I'll be going to the gym today, but I will be cycling and doing the sit ups later on.

My goal is to start jogging with the dogs so I won't have to go to the gym every day. We'll see!

...I am back!

I jogged for 16 and a half minutes this morning. I think I actually surprised myself! I did reduce the speed but it worked, so no complaints. My rowing suffered though, I went over the 21 minute deadline by 8 seconds, but hey, you can't have everything...well not yet anyway!

Back in the gym

I am feeling much better today so I thought I'd go to the gym and take that first move. Well, it mixed results. The treadmill work wasn't good really, but I think the nearly two week gap and a mental block put paid to it. I don't think I even got into double figures. I knew I wouldn't be able to reach my last run of 17.5, but I thought I'd do a bit better than that! On the good side though I did a PB on the rower. Not only did I manage my 4K, but I did it in 20.31, a good 20 seconds better than my last row.

I have put a kilo back on in the last two weeks, but hopefully that will budge asap.

I'm sick

...and I don't just mean in the head either! My Mum and my sister came up to stay with the kids last week, and they left me a gift...a cold! So I haven't been to the gym since last Tuesday, I just cant be doing with it yet. And I've just run out of tissues.....doh!

 

I am running the London Marathon on Sunday......

.....oh! Didn't you know? No, neither did I!

I got a card in the post today from an inlaw saying good luck, and how the first 300 yards are the worst!

That mother in law of mine! She's nuts! She's been telling people I am doing a marathon, so of course Sheilas confusion is obvious! I'll have to tell her its a mistake, and I am a long way from a marathon!

On a plus note though, I reached 17 minutes 50 seconds today! I was well chuffed! I have a rest for a couple of days now while family are visiting so we will see how it goes on Friday!

Week 5, Day 3

I decided to have a go at Day 3, and it went reasonably well actually. I didn't complete the whole 20 minutes, but I did reach 16 minutes. It'll be my mission for the week to hit the elusive 20 minutes, but I am not at all disapointed in todays achievement. In fact, I am very happy with it.

BMI

I just reached 102.7 kilos this morning, and so I checked my BMI, and I have just gone down from obese class 2 to obese class 1!!!! Yay!

I did another run on Friday, but I just couldn't complete it. I made it through the first 8 minutes but I just could not keep it up. I went back to a brisker than usual walk after just 4 minute. I felt so weak. I am upset with myself, but hey I shouldn't expect to be perfect every time, I'm not super human.
