doh! didn't work, any ideas how to get it to work?

...i must be insane!

Yep, definately gone loopy. I have committed myself, and unfortunately it isn't into a phsyc ward.

I have actually told one of the instructors at the gym that I am planning to do the Race for Life in June.

I had my re-assessment this morning, and as I need to increase my running, I had to mention it.

So.....I now have a new routine to do, and the treadmill work is a killer!

I have to do 2 minutes walking at 3.6 mph, then up to 5 mph for 3 minutes of jogging.....oh and it gets worse....I have to do that three times!!!!!!!!!

I did it this morning, just. But afterwards I said adios to the gym and sunk into the pool in a gooey mess. But I have my goal now, and I have to stick to it.

...and another one bites the dust!

Oh yeah! I kept running for 3 minutes today! Yeah baby!

Can you tell, I am kinda proud of myself?

Its got me thinking, maybe I can be ready for the Race for Life in June. I have my gym reassessment early tomorrow morning, so I think I'll mention it to Tony then, maybe he can adjust my routine to get me ready for that as well as to lose weight.

Hard diet day!

Today has been tough diet wise. My problem began early, I woke up starving. Then it got progressively worse, followed by a silly, non satisfying, high points lunch of pate and crackers. So I got to dinner time and had already eaten my way through 17 points. So I had a WW frozen meal and veggies for dinner, to try and balance things out a bit.

No gym!

I went to the gym to actually workout AND do my aqua aerobics class...and they were closed!!!!

Apparently the water company who are working on the main road hit their pipe, and they have no water until 4pm.

Bummer :(

I still did my 30 mins on the bike at home, so I guess its not a complete loss of a day.

A day of two halves

Its a good day because.....I have lost more weight! Yay! Fantastic! It now totals 11.68 pounds.

Its a bad day because.....I only got 89% on my spanish assignment. I thought I'd done really well on that one, not that 89% is bad really, but I thought it would be better.

Yay! Mini goal!

I hit a mini goal today at the gym! On the rower I hit the 2km mark in my 10 minute session. By keeping my strokes per minute up to 31, I reached 2008 meters! I am pleased with it, not a huge achievement but it certainly lifts the spirit when you attain these little things!

Another good point, I can go to the gym for as long as I want tomorrow morning as Chris will be here, that means I can relax and go for a swim too. I just need my new costume to arrive....and fit.....

yay!

I decided to measure myself, it was either kill or cure on the depression stakes!

In one week my waist has apparently decreased by 3 inches, my hips have gone down one and a half inches, and my chest has gone down by three and half inches!!!!

Though I have to admit the big reduction on my chest could also be down a different bra, it is a huge change!

...and it did make me feel better! :)

:(

I am so bummed, I haven't lost any weight this week. Surely I can't hit a plateau at just 3 weeks?

Maybe its that one day hitting back, or maybe I am starting to turn some of this flab into muscle. It still sucks.

:(

I ran

I reached another mini achievement today, I ran for two minutes straight. Not very long I know, but to a couch potato its BIG!!

I have also finished sorting the garage bits and bobs, and they are all tucked away indoors now, nice and dry.
