I did it!!!!!!!!

I finally completed a week 4 workout!!!!

I hadn't been to the gym since Good Friday, so I was sceptical about getting to the last set even, but maybe the rest did me some good. I know by Friday I am normally tired and looking forward to the rest over the weekend. I covered the screen again, and on the last set peeked at the time so I would know how long I had gone for in the last five minute set, and when I felt that I was tiring I uncovered the screen and saw I was just a few seconds away from the four minute mark. So, I thought I'd give it a go and try to complete the full five minutes. And I did it!!!!!  I am so proud of myself!

One thing I am not so proud of the weight gain over the weekend, but hey thats life. We went out for a Chinese on Good Friday, I ate as well as I could as it was a buffet. I steered clear of all the fried food like spring rolls and wings, but I guess the oil still racks up points, and its on everything. I only had a spoonful of rice but it was greasy. Then we went to a Pub for dinner on Easter Sunday when Mum and Dad came up to stay. I did have the soup for starter, and trust me it was very watered down, and definately no cream in there! But I did fail at the main course. I had gammon pieces in a lovely sauce on mash with cheese! Whoops a daisy! No one had desserts which was a life saver. Then yesterday, Easter Monday, I ate my easter egg, or lamb as the case may be! Lovely chocolate! So overall its probably a miracle I only gained just over a kilo!

I always stick to steamed veggies, egg drop soup, and non-fried chicken that they have at chinese buffets.  Always tough, but it's good to not feel as gross as everyone else when we leave!
