Finally
I finally broke 196 this morning. Still not at 195 technically - it is 195.6, but I'll take it. After reading a link on desertbrats blog yesterday and going back to the last diet book I bought, I decided that I actually might not be taking in enough calories. How crazy is that?? But apparently if you do not take in enough calories your body goes into starvation mode and wont let you lose weight. I made a concentrated effort to eat more yesterday, especially adding a little starchy stuff, and lo and behold it worked. Learn something new everyday, I guess. I'm goin to try eating something every 2 to 3 hours like the diet book says and we'll see how that goes. Keep your fingers crossed!

i know what you mean!
i know exactly what you mean....sometimes i don't think i'm taking in enough calories either. i don't know what sort of plan you're following....i was just doing my own thing, just eating healthier and less. but then i realized i wasn't eating ENOUGH and had really plateud (that it totally spelled wrong!) for a long time. so now, i'm doing the weight watchers points system...eating the same foods, just journaling it all and i know that if i've gotten all my points, then i've eaten enough calories.
good luck to you! hope you have a great holiday!

I've learned I need to eat, also ...
And I know better. Eating not enough food will sabotage your diet. I'm living proof of that recenlty. I went from eating healthy foods all day each day and losing a lot of weight quickly to skipping meals and watching the weight loss come to an absolute halt. My body is rebelling against the weight loss and all I'm doing is making myself feel run down and frustrated. Your post was the reminder I needed to get back on the right track!
Thanks for your nice comments on my blog and congrats on your weight loss so far!
