I have a new granddaughter

My granddaughter was born today.  I got to watch her be born AND I got to cut her cord.  That is so extremely neat.  She is just a beautiful baby, of course I know we all thing our children and grandchildren are beautiful, but she REALLY is!  I'll post some photos in my album.  She weighs 7.5 pounds, pretty good size since her mom is a tiny little thing.  I'm away from home so I won't be posting much for a few days but just wanted to share the good news. CONGRATULATIONS

That is so wonderful!!!!!  Glad that grandmother, mother and granddaughter are all OK.  You got another inspiration for eating and getting healthy.

I watched my first grandson being born and it is an experience like simple words can never explain.  I know how you are feeling right now.

LOL - thanks to Shelleys now I know it was YOU with the diet cake post on your blog - OMG that was good!!  I have to beat my ds off with a stick (( just kidding )) to keep him out of MY cake!

How are things?

Thanks for visiting - yes, my son loves the cake too, so that is good also.  I'll have to go back and find the recipe for the corn chowder.  I am sure it is not diet friendly, but you can make anything fit for a day in moderation.  :-)

Grandbaby Progress

I welcomed my Grandbaby back in July.  He is absolutely Gorgeous!! and so is Yours!!

they grow so fast.  I could swear I heard him talk the other day.
