T-Tapp Challenge
So I am doing the T-Tapp 60 Day Challenge and hope to blog my workouts and experience. As many of you know, I suck at the blogging thing, so no promises!
My goal is to drop 2 sizes, although if I make it just one, I will be very happy. I am trying not to focus on actual weight, since you don't tend to lose weight with T-Tapp, and focus more on inch loss. I also pulled out my book and all of the emails that I have printed off with tips, other workouts, and just plain motivational stuff.
April 11th: Took pictures and measurements. The measurements didn't bother me, not NEARLY as much as the pictures did. Compression shorts and a sports-bra. UGH!
April 12th: Didn't do anything. didn't even try to eat better.
April 13th: Day 1 of bootcamp. Used my new Tempo DVD which has the 8 reps and the 10 reps options. In the middle of the 8 rep workout, the DVD started skipping. This is a brand new DVD. So, I called the office and they are exchanging it for a new one. YAY! I love their customer service. I ended the work out at that point, I made it though Basic Plus.
April 14th:Day 2 of bootcamp. Did the enitre 39 minute Tempo workout. My upper back is feeling it a little, and I actually felt a little tired during the balance portions, and at the hoedowns, too. I thought about using the "Doova's Cardio" version, where every so often you add a hoedown in the workout. Not this time around with this bootcamp.

After vacation!!!
Ugh. I suck at the blog thing! We got back from a 5 day cruise to Cabo San Lucas. I didn't gain any weight! YAY!!! However, I have to catch up on my running as I didn't do any of that either. I have registered for my 5K which is October 7th, so I need to get crackin' again at the running thing. Have been considering running outside instead of on the treadmill, just to mix it up again. A few other things, I dropped out of Curves. Trying to find time to make it there, make it home for dinner, do homework, play, bath, kids in bed, AND RUN, is just TOO much for the evenings for me. All of that crammed into 2.5 hours is just too much. Plus, I am trying really hard to bond more with the kids. Especially Roo. He's 5 now, and has changed so much...I need to turn him into a momma's boy at some point!!! :-)
At any rate, sorry I have been the suck at the blogging. I will try and do more!
Oh!!! And, I am doing Weight Watchers points again, too. This program worked for me so much in the past. I think that blogging here, going to meetings, etc will help me out a lot.
