I feel like a BLOB!

I don't even know if that is how you spell it but I feel like a blob of fat.  Way too much sodium in my system today.  I made a package of hidden valley range salad dressing... I ate most of it as a dip......   I've never made the salad dressing before just used the mix as a seasoning in different things.  I won't make the salad dressing again.. it's way too addictive.  I dipped smartpop popcorn in salad dress... not very smart.   My goal is still to weigh less than the end of my last challenge.  Tomorrow I will detox with lots of water... tonight I'm starting with some green tea before bed.....

The good news is that I did manage to get three miles of walking in tonight..

Sunday Blessed Sunday

I sure did enjoy my extra hour this morning.  I was greeted by a number on the scale I haven't seen in a long time.   218.2!  Tomorrow is my official weighin day and I've been pretty good today except for the exercise which I will try to get in tonight after church.    That wasn't the only good thing today.  I could cross my legs in church this morning. I haven't done that in a long time. I was feeling thinner ......ahhhhh.  I've been good on drinking my water which has made me somewhat energetic.  I've rolled up some pecans, made taco soup with extra veggies, and chocolate berry bliss (thanks to Tamachan's post).  What a cool way to get your fruit and milk in!    After church this morning some of my buddies and I went to Fuddrucker's for lunch.  I had a grilled chicken no bread and a side salad.   I did have cheese on the chicken but other than was pretty good. 

I'm only 2.2 pounds from getting to my WW 10%.  I have never been able to do that before. While I'm not officially going to WW meetings or doing it online I'm still following the program for the most part.  I'll have to make my own ribbon and sign my own name to the poster....  I hope to get there by next week when I start the new Weight Loss Challenge. 

Man that taco soup is tasty.  It has beans it it, I hope I'm not gassy at church tonight....   I'll be eating on it for a few days.

I have a some men interest   I have two that I have met on match .com.  One I have met in person and has been going to my sunday school class. He's a nice guy...   The other doesn't go to church and we haven't met and he wants to meet me.  We've talked on the phone. He's seen my picture but only from the neck up.... so after we meet and sees the mid section he may not want to continue.   Both are pleasant... we'll see if any of them go anywhere.... ...  Hope everyone has a great week!!!!

 

WeekEnd!!!!

This mornig it is blustery in Central Georgia - I actually like this kind of weather for a day or two. It's invigorating to me! 

I'm signing up for round two of the weight loss challenge.  I am so determined to be at 199 or below on new years day.  I'm doing well so far this weekend. I had some off days earlier this week.  I am having a very hard time with the water and I honestly believe that effects how well I do.  It seems when I'm drinking lots of water I don't want sugar or starches that much.

I read some interesting article that if you lose 100 pounds you could save $40 in gas a year.  Doesn't seem like much but another reason to get this weight off!!!  My little toyota would appreciate me I'm sure.

I read on someone elses blog on here that she is walking 2.5 mph on her treadmill while watching dvds, etc.  Great idea!!!!!  My treadmill is in the living room and while I don't feel like going full tilt on it most nights after I've walked the dogs. I can go at a slower pace while I watch tv. I would be just on the couch and probably munching something.  So I tried that yesterday afternoon while I had a few minutes. I had DVRed Ugly Betty from the night before and I just hopped up on the treadmill and watched it.  I wasn't panting for breath but I broke a sweat and ended up walking about 2 miles.

This morning I went to open up a new box of cereal I thought I had picked up Fiber One Honey Clusters but I picked up a Honey Oat cereal that has a ton of sugar and hardly any fiber.. It was buy one get one free.  GRRRRRRR  But this morning while I was walking there were some kids going around collecting canned goods.  So the extra box is going to that along with a few other things.  Thank you LORD!!!

Well I'm off to straighten up my desk a bit at work. I'll be out of the office most of Monday doing interviews for some administrative help!!!!   YAHOO!  I hope they like to work cause I have lots of data input for them.  Unfortunately they will be assigned to another person but I can have leftover time.

 

Been a while since I posted

I get on here and read others and then I'm too pooped to write anything....  

I've signed up for another challenge.  The last one was good and bad... I lost 3 plus pounds but far far away from my goal.  I either have to step up my exercise and step down my eating or not make a lofty goal.  Actually I still want to be 199 or less on Jan 1, 2007.  I'm less than 19 pounds away from that.. i could do it, I can do it!  But I can't be so up and down with my commitment to it.

Tonight I got in over 3 miles of walking.  I feel good about that and the dogs really enjoyed the longer walks. 

I'm already fading.. I need to start my typing earlier,.... goodnight.

Monday Weighin

The scaled moved a little bit downward which I'm happy with. I just wish I could get it to move faster

Weight this morning.   218.4    Loss of 1.6 for the week and for the blue team.

I'm glad I'm in this challenge. Yesterday I went to O'Charley's after church with some friends.  I ordered water and lemon, as the lovely hot butter soft rolls were passed around I said no thankyou (THANK YOU LORD for the strength to do THAT!!!!) and then I had a grilled salmon ceasar salad with dressing on the side.   If I had not had this challenge I would have definitely had several yeast rolls and a more caloric entree.

This week will be a challenge I have a couple of birthdays  - one I'll be cooking a cake for.

Spinach is Back!!!!!

I'm so excited to see fresh spinach back in the produce section of the store.  I missed it so much.  I bought 2 bags, I'll be eating it all weekend.  First in my eggs, then in some salads... yummy.

I hope my blue team buddies are doing great!!

I think this week will be much better at weighin if I don't go and do something very stupid.

It took a while to get it through my thick skull that if I have 160 calories 2-4 times a day....that will equal over 1/2 pound a week of calories I have to work off.. that's a lot of walking... I've been rice krispie treat free for 3 days now with the help of apples and other fruit.....

So good riddance RKT - we're through!!!

 

GRRRRRR!!!

Well I'm disappointed in my weighin this morning.  I gained .6 pounds so I'm sitting at 220 even.  

I thought I had recovered from my slip earlier but obviously not.  

I'm sorry Blue Team.. I will do better next week. 

I promise to drink more water

I promise to eat lots more veggies (I'm munching on raw brocolli and carrots now)

I will plan all my meals

I will do my WATP video 5 times this week in addition to the dog walking. 

I would like to think I'm also holding a little water in my thighs and butt cause they hurt from exercising. 

I will lose weight this coming week and be back on track for my goal.

 

No Funnel Cake for me!

Today was pretty decent day on exercise and eating.  I went to the Georgia National Fair with my petite mother.  We walked around four about 4 1/2 hours.  It was her first time there and it so much nicer than the fairs we went to when I was growing up.  She and I split a ribeye sandwich.  It was very good but not huge so I felt good about that. I had an ear or roasted corn and she and I split an apple dumpling with ice cream.  I really wanted the home made cinnamon rolls and I wanted a funnel cake - but I want to weigh less more.  Besides the strolling around the fair I  pulled weeds a little bit until my neighbor came over and talked until dark. Then she apologized for intertupting my work ....grrr.  Then walked a couple of miles with my dogs.  Not too fast tonight but still moving.    Oh yeah.. another little victory over food today.  I went to a Dunkin Donuts and only bought black coffee... I was out of coffee filters at home and needed my coffee before I got the dreaded headache, I so I got some on the way to PT.  They had donuts at the physical therapy office just hanging out there for us.. I didn't have one of those either.  Tonight I had a mini bag of smartpop popcorn. 

Hope all my Blue Team buddies are doing well.

Multiple eating personality disorder....

I was doing so well on Monday after weigh in and then on Tuesday I let my guard down just a little and let a few peanut M&Ms into my mouth and BAM!!!!- the other eating personality comes forth.  What's up with that....  I didn't binge but I started eating things I know I shouldn't while doing this challenge.  I had a couple of small bags of chips, some salty popcorn and some rice krispie treats the last few days and cheese.  I know part of the problem is I didn't plan my meals.  I know when I make my lunch ahead of time and cut up my fruits and veggies that I will stick to eating healthy.  I went to the store last night and got the veggies.  I took some to work but they weren't cut up in a salad and so they stayed on my desk and I ate a sandwich...  ARRRRGH!!!!

Tonight I'm back on track... I did the 4 mile WATP all the way through and then I took the dogs our for an additional two miles of walking.  I feel good. 

Tomorrow I will be going to the Georgia National Fair in beautiful Perry, GA.   I'm going to plan for one and only one fair treat and eat a boat load of veggies and fruit the rest of the weekend and gallons of water.  I know I won't have the weigh in I wanted but I'm hoping to post a loss. 

Dear Blue Team I'm sorry I went off track and I hope I won't let you down anymore.
