I've been soooooo lax in my eating.. nothing horrid.. just not tracking it (well it could be horrid because I'm not tracking it)... but I've neglected water, most veggies and fruit and planning my meals.. .it's like I"m putting crap in my fuel tank and expecting it to run well.... I remember when I was a kids a kid vandalized the family car by putting sugar in the gas tank.. guess what.. the car didn't run either.. I got to get off the sugar and starches and get on the protein and veggies....
My nephew is getting married in December.. the first kid of that generation to get married in the family.... I want to look good in pictures, I want to feel no self consciousness. I found a beautiful dress at coldwater creek I really really would like to wear to the wedding.. it's a red sheath dress with a jacket and ruffled detailed. I looked at what my hips had to be to fit into a size 16 petite... 9 inches smaller than I am now.... so back to walking regularly, back to squating regularly, back to the gym and definitely back to healthy eating.... REALLY!!

Good for You!!!
It sounds like you have a new resolve! I liked your analogy about the sugar in the gas tank. I need to learn that one! Good for you!
YAY! Someone who actually has heard of Guy Fieri!! Thats funny that he mentioned his Tex Wasabi place, usually all he ever talks about is Johnny Garlics! He's definitely a unique individual! But he has a whole following! You should see the staff at his restaurant...they all wear the long shorts and the bowling shirts and the arm bands....and its not their uniform! Its funny. They all the have the spikey hair and goatees...kind of bizarre, but I love him. I haven't done any of his recipes, but I do get a lot of mine from the Food Network. I have to de-fatten them most of the time! LOL
How come you're not blogging, Julie? Everything ok? How are you doing? Hopefully really well! Take care! Shelley
