HANGING ON FOR DEAR LIFE !

Hi y'all

Just calling in during my lunch hour at work, here's my update =

HOUSE - Builders have gone on to start another job, leaving us with a list of snagging as long as your arm, but the overall 'finished' article is fantastic.  Today and tomorrow the flooring is being laid, and on Wednesday the stereo is being installed and the furniture being delivered - so exciting

Harryjsmummy - my lovely DD Stefanie has just 5 days to go until her due date, and little Ella-May will be welcomed into the world.  I will be rushing off as soon as she calls as I will be helping her during her labour, so you will definitely here when my little grand-daughter arrives

Harry-J - He is walking everywhere now and is practising saying 'Ella-May' and 'Sister' ready for her arrival.  We bought him his first pair of walking shoes last weekend and went to see some farm animals.  I can't wait for our house to be tidy again so he can play comfortably and I won't get told off for him getting holes in his jeans 

Marathon Training - The half marathon I have entered into is due to take place on October 5th.  I entered my DH in with me and am now regretting it.  I thought he would be a good motivator and thought it would also get him off the sofa, he has been so busy with work his exercise regime is very nearly zilch at the moment.  Well he said he would start his training on August 1st, so I stopped mine and decided to start again when he starts.  It is now August 4th and you've guessed it, we have not run anywhere, not even upstairs    I think I am going to have to leave him behind and get my training back on schedule - tonight though I am going to try a step class, so tomorrow the running is back on track

Weight Watchers - I have managed to maintain my weight since March, but with my friends wedding (well renewing wedding vows) on August 23rd I really wanted to use that to head towards and reach my target of 10st 3lb.  I have been very lucky to have lost weight these last few weeks considering we haven't had a kitchen for most of the time.  Last week I lost another 1.5lb and couldn't believe it considering the indian, fish & chips, BBQ and pizza I had during that week   I got all inspired again, thinking that having 3 weeks to loose 6lb was 'do-able'.  But, I really don't think I have been good enough to loose 2lb this week - fingers firmly crossed as ever though

OK I have to go back to work again unfortunately, but I do hope you all have a good week

Running

You are doing fantastic, maintainting while not having a kitchen!  I think I would be eatting junk everyday and piling the lbs back on.  Heck Ive already gained back 3.5 and my kitchen is just fine.  6 lbs by August 23rd, you can do it!  My anniversary is August 26th.  I want to get off these 4lbs by then.  I have no excuse not to!

My half marathon is October 19th.  I found a 12 week training schedule on coolrunning.com.  So I just finished week 1.  I loved the first week but I cant even imagine one day running more than twice as far as I did this week but Im excited to try!
