IT'S FRIDAY - YIPPEE !!!

Last night ..... well after work I went to the gym, I did 20 minutes on the treadmill walking and running, whatever took my fancy, then decided to join in the Body Conditioning class that was about to start.

I have tried this class once before and remember being on all fours just dreaming of crawling out the door, god it hurt !!  So, last night I was a little dubious about actually having another go.

The teacher was the same girl who takes my dance fit class, so she knows me well enough.  Except ..... we don't use weights in dance fit, and we don't do repetitive squats and shoulder press things either, and things that generally make me want to consatina down to the ground

God it KILLED me, I had to stop a few times, and when I did push through that pain barrier you should have seen the faces I was puling

In the end I just closed my eyes so I couldn't see the teacher (Suzy) looking at me - the weakling) and did what I could to keep up.

My body was beat by the time we finished (45 minutes) infact my legs kept wanting to give way (poor me) I even considered not doing my Salsa-cise class - heaven forbid, thats the whole reason I go to the gym for goodness sake !!!

Salsa-cise was it's usual FUN time.  But when it came to choosing a partner I ended up on my own - nobody likes me   But I had the last laugh and got to dance with our teacher Loraine

It was a great night, I am very pleased that I pushed myself, but not so sure I will be rushing back to the Body Conditioning class next week

I had 24 points yesterday, not quite the 19 that I was hoping to have, but at least I am counting it

Our kitchen is being fitted today, so it is a bit of luck that DH and I have decided to go out for dinner tonight, I hate to guess what our place is going to look like when we get home

Tomorrow I will be at the gym for my 9am dance fit class, then off to my son's to clear his pig sty of a flat up, then my DD and I are going to London to see the stage show 'Never Forget' about a Take That tribute band, which should be good

So, you guys have a great weekend and I am sure I will catch up with you soon

That class .... I hope you don't ache too much tomorrow because of it !

"Core Plan" .... it ain't the cooking that worries me ... having just looked it up ... it's the lack of:

Bread

Flour

Butter

White rice

Pasta other than wholewheat

Sausages

Breaded fish / chicken etc.,

Alcohol !

But hey ... I'm going to give it a whirl ... even if just for this week. I have 21pts apparently to spend on the above .... I may just need to earn some exercise points too !!!

Weights

Two classes and 20 mins on the treadmill!?!?!?  You did wonderful with exercise!  I hear ya on the conditioning class though.  I could do cardio for days, but when I do my strength training tapes Im pathetic.  I just have 3, 5, & 8lb dumbells and I can hardly do the whole sets with those!  And a push up???....hardly!  I can barely do a few of the girly ones on my knees   Keep up the good work and all that effort!

What a workout!!  I can't imagine doing that much in one session!!
