ONWARDS AND UPWARDS ...
as they say, except what I am hinting at is that I have gained 2lb this week
I am not disheartened, well, not much anyway
I was worrying about getting to my target too quickly and putting it all back on. Last weeks weight loss was an eye opener (5.5 off) but today just brings me back down to earth, with a slap round the face to bring me back to my senses.
My leader asked what I had done differently this week, I honestly said that I couldn't think of anything, but it would all come back to me once I sit down and think about it
So, this is me sitting down and thinking about it .......
Hot Brie & chutney baguette - cor that was YUMMY
3 glasses of vino
3 bacardi & coke's
3 tia maria's
2 Thai fish cakes, difficult to point, but very easy to eat
and
1 chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream - cor that was even YUMMIER
and I thought it was my DH who was only holiday, not me ?
I did say to a friend at the club that I will probably loose it next week, BUT it's easter weekend, and we have a big day ahead of us on Sunday. It's a family get together with the in-laws and we will be meeting my FILs girlfriends' family, so you can imagine a glass or two of vino will help break the ice
I think I'll be driving though, so that will probably help matters
The following weekend is my DHs birthday and that will be 2 meals out, blimey I've got my work cut out if I want to get to goal by 19th April
So .....onwards and upwards

A-hem...
(Firstly, we're going to gloss over the gain, ssssh).
Right .. my dear your Easter Challenge way back when ... was "not to gain over Easter" .... so the time has come to pick up the gauntlet and run with the challenge ..... you can and WILL do this ....
10k challenge ... I'm up for it, even if you decide on a 5k challenge in the same time span or whatever? Let's have a common aim (date wise) and therefore we can keep each other focussed? Let's choose something .... me I'm aiming that in 7wks time I will be able to run a 10k on the treadmill (and that's with 2wks in Florida thrown into the mix to completely throw me off course!)

10k .... May 11th
I'm following this training plan to complete 10km. I have to say that for me, most of this is probably a theoretical 10km, in the sense, that I'm not actually entering a 10km race at this stage, just that I'm aiming to be able to complete the distance, whether on treadmill (or if the weather improves) on the road. I know that for me, running on the road is more pleasurable, but a damned sight harder, and whilst I can now run albeit slowly 3 miles on the treadmill, I still can't do a complete mile on the field YET ... but I'm gonna keep on trucking!
On this website there's also plans for half marathons .... nudge, nudge, wink, wink .... ;)
I'm sure there are many other websites with many other plans, this is just the one I'm going for
.
