trying to resist
Ok so it's not so hard to resist the cupcakes right? I'm in here typing to take my mind off of them. They are little mini ones but I still don't know the points value. This morning I swear this is actually kinda funny. I was listening to this radio station it was heavy metal which I never listen to but it was xm. So anyway the guy sounded like cookie monster on speed. I swear he said " IIIII AMM A COOOKIE EAT MEEEEE" . Then I was just cracking up laughing at myself. And i'm still laughing. Just tryin to stay on track.

hey everyone!
A few more days till weigh in but I feel pretty good about this week. At least none that I can think of. I actually turned down some chocolate chip cookies yesterday and someone was like why don't you want any? haha I could have but I'd rather save the points for something that will actually fill me up not just make me want more. I did buy some ww frozen choc things that were 1 point today so i'm hoping they curb my cravings for some sweets. Today I also found fat free pringles made with olestra. Not sure if that stuff is so good for you so i gotta do some reasearch so anyway 14 chips is 1 point I was like whoo hoo. I made up my own snack bags I got 7 from 1 can for only 1$ how cheap am I. I haven't really tried any new recipes because i have been so busy with work but I'll get on that this weekend.

10lb Ribbon... :) - Soup works
So tonight I lost 5lbs. yay me! I finally got to the 10 lb ribbon since I started going to the meetings. It's been 5 weeks but I have learned alot. Even though some cereal looks like it's less points if it's loaded with sugar not so good. 3/4 cup is usually 1 serving size of cereal. So I traded in my Lucky Charms for Cheerios this week and used splenda and a banana. Pretty good if you ask me. And it kept me full most of the morning. The soup thing seems to be working I ate dinner out several times this week but I prepared by looking at my points before ordering. I even went on a few sites looking at menus. Then just ate lighter meals earlier in the day. Also, I wrote down everything again this week. Found myself looking up points for things that I was kinda saying well thats about 5 point that were like 10. So I had a few surprises this week. So my tips for this week, Write your crap down, eat cheerios and soup.. to make a long story short. haha

Soup's on!
So i'm just now getting to log in after a crappy weigh in but I know don't fret when it's that time. It's just hard when your checking and weighing and looking everything up. OH my god sausage is like 13 points.. Crazy. Anyway that just makes me wake up to so many things. This week our meeting was about a secret... shhh don't tell. Soup.. Most of the progresso light soups are pretty good and they say 0 for each serving but **** catch is there are 2 servings and once you add it up 2 points. Still not so bad and very filling for such litte amount of points. Just becareful on the sodium like don't eat one of these and than a frozen meal together. Not so good. So I'm now sick of soup naaa just kidding but i'm getting close. I did go out and get like 10 soups and stocked up my desk at work. Plus i'm saving so much money. I used to spend 7-10 dollars on lunch. Well I need to get some sleep people it's 12:30am. So i'm off and i'll be back probably on Thursday after weighin for some new thougts.

hungry girl- starbucks
Yesterday I got my email from Hunrygirl.com and it was all about coffee. So I did some digging on wawa since i tend to stop there. Regular french vanilla capp= 5 points crazy huh. Low fat french vanilla is 3. for 12 oz. Here's my solution. 16 oz cup with 1/2 low fat fv capp. 8 oz 1/2 coffee. 1 splenda. 2 points :) Came out pretty good too. Check out the hungrygirl website the recipes are really good and stuff people actually eat.

my story
Well my story is kinda crazy so i'll tell it. I first joined ww at the age of 10 yeah back then it didn't matter how old you were to join you just needed 5$ a week for the meeting. Can't believe I even remember the amount but anyway i've been on ww several times throughout the years and never really stuck it out till goal but I feel this time is different. I'm really motivated to get this weight off whatever it takes. I started on my own last year and lost 45lbs just counting points. About a month ago I saw some of the lbs chasing me so I ran as fast as I could to the weight watcher meeting. haha ok so I found out that my work reimbursed for the meetings up to a certain amount so I figured I could use the extra help. Anyway, long story short here I am looks like I just started out but i'm hoping the opening up to a few people on here will help give me the support I never asked for but so desperatly need.

5 point pita pizza recipe
ok so i haven't logged on that first week seemed like forever and now it's just flying by. I'm doing ok on the plan lost another 2.5 lbs last wednesday at weigh in. I think I ate too many fiber one bars now i don't want to look at them but they are still good. (as long as you have some gas x on hand) haha ok well. I've brought a few new recipes some old some new. I haven't quite figured out the points on this but i made jello sugar free/fat free (if you use skim) pudding and crunched up some graham crackers with fat free cool whip. Stack layers in a wine glass and you will feel like a princess. yum. I ask my sister if she wanted some she said no then she saw mine and was like you didn't say you were making THAT. see.. anyway that was my big dessert for the day. I have a good recipe for pita pizza to and it's a great substitute.
1 pita whole wheat
small can low sodium tomato sauce
low fat part skim mozzarella
orgegano, salt, pepper, little garlic powder.
Any veggie you want mushroom, fresh green pepper, fresh tomato ( i prefer sweet peppers)
1 whole pizza is about 5 points sometimes I make 2.
Bake at 350 till the cheese melts. about 8 mins. They come out really crispy on the bottom.
Tip: the reynolds release non stick foil works great underneath it on the cookie sheet.
My best friend Tara gave me this recipe a few years back so I can't take all the credit. Thanks TT.

1st weigh in :)
Ok so last night was my first way in and was I surprised as ever that I lost 6.8 lbs. Crazy but I know it gets harder as the pounds come off but how motivating is that. I bought my water cups last night one for home and one for work. Really easy to see how much water your drinking on these. Still lovin the fiber one bars. :) ( I bought seven boxes)

I made it
Well we are talking small steps here I made it through the first day.
But I feel really good about the changes I'm making in my eating. Plus it's so much easier to already have my lunch made at work then I don't have to go anywhere. Well the first day I was offered to go to chinese for lunch and I chose not to and there were these chocolate chip cookies staring at me on the shelf but I didn't want to use those extra points. But I found the best granola bars I think I've ever eaten they are Fiber One like the cereal and only 2 points. So far I've had chocolate and carmel and the choc is the best. A few weeks ago I also bought the hungry girl cookbook. I've tried the egg and cheese with turkey bacon in a tortilla not bad.

I've lost some weight since I started doing it myself but then put on a few pounds so I decided to join. I'm excited but it's only day 1:) i'm sure I will have lots of other emotions through out this journey.
