Anyway,  I thought I was back and ready for round 103.   Well, turns out.  I am one busy mama!  I did run another 5k and did very well.  I got 1st place for my age group, (20-29 yr olds).  My time was 31:30.  I improved my time by at least 4 mins.  YAY!  I will be weighing in on Monday.  I am not too excited. 

Oh and I was strong and my boy is pacifier free!  He did such a great job.  The 1st night was rough but he did great!!!!

Gettin' Back on Track!

Today I decided to wean my almost 2 year old from his pacifier.  YIKES!  I just put him to sleep and he threw the biggest fit!  I had to be with him for 20 mins.  Listening to his horrible screams.  Man, it was tuff.  TOM is here and there is no way I am working out on day 2!  I am motivated but not that motivated.  I bought my blender!  YAY!  Now, I just have to buy my protein powder.  I will post recipes for you all soon.  Let see, what else?  I will be going to bed early b/c I know I will have a long night ahead of me with my son.  It should only be about 3 days.  I've done this 3 times before so I know how it goes.  Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful day!

I woke up today thinking....

This is it!  I'm done having fun with junk food.  I'm done being lazy, injury or not!  I did 20 mins of turbo jam, felt a little pain, but carried on anyway.  I feel great!  I ate a healthy breakfast and am going continue to make healthy choices. Kimby's back!  I am sooooooooooo close to hitting the 150's.  I am going to get there!!!!!  YES I AM!!!!

What is wrong with me?

Ok, so...a week and a half ago I had that vomiting/diarrhea sickness and now today, I am soooooo tired and have a bit of a sore throat!  I can't be sick again!  Anyway, not being able to run is kicking my butt. I am tired all the time.  It's quite annoying having this injury.  I am going to try to do some walking tomorrow.  My eating was a lot better.  No smoothies because I need to buy a smoothie maker or blender, and protein powder.  Maybe I can get that tomorrow. 

What did you eat today????

Like my title?  It's because...I ate horribly today.  Too many bad carbs and sugar.  My goal for tomorrow is to eat lots of veggies and have my promising veggie omelette in the morning.  I will let you know how it goes!  You know what I need to get back into??? Smoothies! 

It's been tooooooo long!!!!

Ok!  As you know, my hubby came back from a 4 month deployment to  Iraq last week.  It is soooooooooooo nice to have him home.  My house is a happier place!  My kids love having daddy back home.  We took my Mother in Law to the airport yesterday.  It was nice that she was able to come and help me out for the last 2 1/2 months.  My training was going great, however, I have a small injury and I have to rest it for about 2 weeks!  Bummer huh?  My weight is still the same.  I feel like I look good and get compliments ALL the time.  I know that I can loose more, so I am not giving up!  Anyway, since my hubby is back my goal is to log onto EP everyday and start checking on you all, oh, and of course, blog blog blog!  I have no idea what I am going to eat for breakfast, but, I want to make it healthy.  Maybe a veggie omlette.  Oh, yesterday, me and hubby got fast food and I had a horrible tummy ache!  I was in so much pain so, I know that my body was rejecting the yuckiness! 

Kimby's 10 Miles.....

Alright so today was my long training day.  We did 10 miles.  It was ok.  Hard at about the 1/2 way mark but, I was excited to do it all.  Noticed a little bit of knee pain on my right knee today with my daily activities, (squatting to pick things up ect...).  Those sort of thing triggered the pain.  Um...I was so tired after the long jog.  It's evening and I feel really good.  

I found out that hubby's isn't coming as soon as we thought.  They  changed his plane ticket!  I was so upset to find that out.  Oh well, I guess that means more days to get the house in order, right?   

All in all, my training is going great.  I have the motivation to it and I can't believe I am actually doing it!  I just think...'WOW!  I'm training for a marathon?'  Pretty cool and crazy huh?  Bye the way, I've never ran 10 miles before so today when I saw my time (1 hour and 58 mins.) I was pretty pleased!  Anyway, I hope you all are doing great with your workouts and hydration!

Kimby's New Motivation!!!!!!

Alright!  I am feeling so motivated and excited.  I got some insight from RBR and I didn't think that you could actually gain by training.  Well, uh....I guess you can.  Thanks to you!  Anyway, I am so motivated right now.  I have realized that I should take advantage of all this running and eat less.  I want to give myself 1 junk day a week.  Think I could stick to it? 

Also, I have some very exciting news!!!!  My hubby gets home in 1 week!  1 WEEK!  I am so happy.  I am sooooooooo Happy!  Is it just me or am I repeating myself?  Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you.  I am also so excited about how fast I have been running.  YAY!  Ok, I sound like I'm on an upper!  I'm just a tad excited, that's all!
