Weigh In Day Tomorrow
I didn't climb on the treadmill this week at all!! I am so tired. I think it is because I started three classes this week and it has been rough. There are not enough hours in the day for us, right? The job has been rough lately too. I had a great on plan day today. I had the JC pizza for dinner. I've been delaying eating it. It has to be cooked in the oven, so because I could not zap it, it stayed in the freezer for a while. I am not really dreading the weigh in tomorrow. I think I will only maintain. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'll post after 1 pm est tomorrow. Have a good night!

Healthy Snacks!!!
About 2 months ago I told you guys about the popcorn seasoning. You can see it at www.nomorenakedpopcorn.com . Anyway I wanted to tell you that if you receive Weight Watchers magazine, there is a coupon in there for you to use. Also in last Sun's coupons, there is a coupon for $1.00 off of welch's Dried Fruit. These are great and small individual packages that can just fit in your purse. It's a serving of fruit. It has a little more sugar in it than I'd like, but it works! Delmonte's Fruit Naturals are good too. You have to keep them refrigerated, though. Walmart tickles me, they charge $2.50 for them three weeks out of the month. I buy them for $1.50 that one week. I hope all of you had an on plan today. I almost did. I had a sushi breakdown at lunch, but it wasn't too bad! I hope I can stay up and watch Idol tonight!!!! I want to let all of you know that you are not the only one fighting the battle of the bulge. We're all in this together!

So many of you Noticed....
So many of you noticed that I didn't blog yesterday. A couple of you emailed me. Thanks for the pep talks. KQ, I am not losing focus and my mine is still set on the goal. I had set a mini goal of 10 lbs by 2/14th, I am 3.5 in to it right now, So, I have a strong start. The initial goal is to hit the 200 lb mark by mid November. You can see I have a lot of work left to do! I am over 40 years old and have a lot of stress going on, but we all have drama right? JS thanks for reminding me to blog today in front of my boss!!!! It's ok, though, he's cool. Stress, what kind of stress do I have? My mother is deathly ill, I'm taking 3 classes right now. I'm planning to graduate after these. I just spent all of my savings in home repairs. I have homework I need to do and I need to catch up my food log. The treadmill is yelling for me, but I've been up since 4 this morning, so it may not happen. What do I do to help me escape ALL this stress? I read your blogs and I laugh at the funny things you guys say........

Help - I need my Blog!!!
Ok, the success has chilled and I have to refocus. I did all my bloodwork last week. The cholesterol is down, the diabetes is good and my blood pressure was good too! Maybe I will live afterall. I just got back from Super Walmart. Got Healthy choice sausage for the grill, peppers, onions and salad to go with it. I also got corn on the cob.... I know its a starch, na. na. na..... I am limited on which veggies I like. Last week I ate corn 2 days and lost over 3 lbs, so don't anyone email me about how bad CORN is.... I LOVE IT....... All kinds, white corn, yellow corn, baby corn, candy corn and popcorn . I no longer eat cramed corn or fried corn or corn casserole. I take it plain. I like broccolli, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, cukes and thats about it. So, I'll do my best to explore new less starchy veggies, does anyone have a suggestion? I'll be sitting home tomorrow enjoy my day off, so I'll stop by all your blogs tomorrow. Have a great day!

Tomorrow is Weigh In Day!
Honestly, I haven't been on a scale all week. I am going to Target this weekend and get me a new scale. I want a fancy digital one. I did really great last night, I forgot to tell you I extended my exercise time, instead of 15 minutes of treadmill, I did 20 minutes. It was easy I did the last 5 minutes to Justin Timberlakes, "Sexy Back". It makes me want to move. I have been real good all week. I tried a different strategy, I have ate at the top of my calorie limit so I wouldn't feel hungry, plus I wanted to see if by doing that, just MAYBE I will be working my metabolism harder. We'll see tomorrow. Have a great afternoon. Keep your fingers crossed for me again!

I wish You'd Never Been Broiled, either!
I just love that tv commercial , where Whopper Junior tells Whopper (Dad) that he wished he had never been broiled! I for one wished he hadn't been broiled either!! I'm sure many of you are ex- whopper eaters. (Haha) Well, we now have a NEW attitude! I want to share something interesting with you...I was watching the news and there was a story about a North Florida baseball player who in college has cancer and he was beating it. He had a saying taped on to his locker that I found interesting and I want to share it:
Set your goals high and to accomplish them, remove all the obstacles in your way.....
So then I decided to identify the obstacles that I have removed during my lifestyle change. Maybe if all of us take time to identify our obstacles, we can reach our goals quicker. Here is a list of what obstacles I have removed already:
All the stops at McD's for breakfast
All the french fries at lunch
All the Chinese Buffet Lunches
All those times I said I didn't have time to exercise
All those nights I laid on the couch and done nothing
Obstacles I still have to work on :
The thought that its not happening fast enough
Those times I cheat a "little" bit
Those times that no one notices that I've lost weight.
Share with yourself the obstacles you have to overcome. I know you can do it.

Freeze Warning in FL!
There's a freeze warning out for tonight. Does God not know that this is Florida? I must've forgot to tell him. I had a great "program" day today. Jenny Craig would have been proud of me!! I found a way to get all those fruits and veggies in. Grab a pen because you NEED to get these. For fruit, I bought the DelMonte Fruit Naturals in the cup, you get them near the bagged salads. Watch for sales. They are usually $2.50 each, but Wal- Mart (The mighty W) puts them on sale once a month for $1.50 each. They have some sugar in it but its an extra light syrup, I love the red grapefruit and the citrus salad. For veggies, Green Giant has single servings now! I found the broccoli and the corn last week and I love it. There is no worry about eating more than a serving. You just eat one and you're done. Imagine that! Makes it simple for those of you like me that just don't know when to quit. Hehe! You guys will be proud of me, I walked 15 mins. on the treadmill. I remember a time when the most exercise I had was walking to the refrigerator. Goal in site, 10 lbs before 2/14.

Go Gators
Tonight all of Florida will be glued to their TV sets watching those Gators! I would like to go somewhere, but I need to resist the temptation. I know if I do, I'll be eating Chicken wings and fried mushrooms, cheesesticks, etc. So it is best to stay away. I committed to staying on program this week Mon- Fri, and Monday has been succesful so far. I want all of you to have a great week and hopefully tomorrow we can celebrate a Gator win!! Focus on goal 10 lbs by 2/14. I CAN DO IT!!

Weight Loss!!! YAY!!!!!!
Lost 1.1 lbs. this week!! !I am happy and will definitely take that. I was so thrilled I took my son out for a sushi lunch!!!! A lot of you have asked if this is my first grandchild and the answer is yes. I am only 40 and I have a 16 year old son, so technically this is my stepdaughter's baby. However, he can call me gammaw' anytime. I am so HAPPY that I did not gain weight . I should have!! I ate everything, ham, turkey, deviled eggs, yam casserole. I did shy away from 2 fried breakfasts and I ate my complete start cereal those 2 days. I skipped dessert at both of the functions I attended, so maybe that small amount of effort paid off!! MY JC counselor didn't loose, actually gained. So I'll be thinking of her this week. She knows who she is and what she needs to do............. I wish we could all hook IV's up to ourselves and just quit eating. That would make it so much easier wouldn't it???? Not gonna happen!
