Weigh In

So today I went to WI and was up .8... ARGH! But TOM was this week, and I was perfectly on plan... even had a bunch of flexies available. I also drank a minimum of 101oz of water each day so... oh well. Next week will be good!!!!!

Holy Carpe Diem!

 Has it seriously been THAT long since I posted? Sheesh! Well, thanks to Mimy... Hi Mimsy... I'm here again. I'm gonna hafta get on the ball. 

Well, I didn't do a whole lot of losing last year... but like my friend Mimy, I did manage to maintain within 5# all last year. Happy? Not really... I was hoping to be MUCH farther, but at least I know that I can go 12 months and not gain more than 5#. Woohoo! That bodes well for maintenance.

We have a new leader in our WW meeting... whom I love!!!! And it's funny because she comes up with these cheers in our meetings. Last week she started one ... GOAL WEIGHT IN 2008... and on one SUPER crappy day this week (this has NOT been the best week), when I was totally wanting to eat things I shouldn't - such as the doughnuts my boss brought in ... I suddenly started hearing that cheer. And you know what? It actually worked!?!?! I didn't go for the doughnut, but rather walked downstairs and refilled my bottle of water.

Anyway, for this year I've committed to a few things.

1. Go to EVERY WW meeting that I'm in town for, regardless of how crappy, sick, throwing up I feel. I WILL BE THERE!!!!!

2. Walk 3 times a week for 30 min. I have a buddy at work that needs to go walking too so she and I are going to do that. We were going to walk this week, but so far... it's rained all week. Eh. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get a good walk in. 

3. Blogging. I suck at journaling, but I think it's something that will be good for me. 

4. BITE IT AND WRITE IT! I will write down EVERY STINKIN' THING I PUT IN MY MOUTH!!!!! no matter what.

5. GOAL WEIGHT IN 2008! I've done well so far. I've gone to 2 meetings this year and I've lost 3.4# Pretty good for one month. With walking, it'll be even better!

So there you have it. And Mimy? If you're reading this... remind me of #1 if I ever text you and say I'm not going, k? 

Happy Weigh Day

I had a good WI today. I was down .6. Granted, I would have liked to have been down more, but that's still good... I'll push a bit this week and get it lower next time. What's funny is that from the time I left WI to the time I got home, my weight changed and when I stepped on the scale here at home, I was lower.LOL! Why couldn't that have happened a few minutes before? ARGH!

Anyway, this will be a good week. I'm back at work and the kids will be watched during the week so that will be a nice break.

Anyway, off I go to do laundry. Oh joy!

To all the full time mommies...

... I give you PROPS!!! I have been a "full time Mom" for 2 whole days now... I'm on vacation this week... and let me tell you... YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!! This is so mentally (and physically) exhausting! Trying to figure out what to do... what they're going to get into... what they MIGHT think of doing... breaking up fights...  You all are truly the best and deserve SOOO much more than you get!

Well, I went to WI this morning and I was VERY happy because I had a nice loss. - 1.8! I'm FINALLY in the 220's!!!! Took freakin' long enough! Sheesh. I think I've been stuck in the 230's for 6 months. Man!!!

Anyway, we have DH's kids here for a few weeks. It's been interesting. They've never been away from their mom for this long so ... it may not last, but at least they get to be with their dad. I thought for sure though that with them being here I would have a slight gain, but then... when I've cooked for them, I've been cooking WW friendly stuff, so... and they didn't have a clue until today! They've loved it!

Well, the kiddo's are waking up from their nap so, off I go!

TGI(almost)F!

Hello! Well, I'm back from the Big D (Dallas) where I went for work. It was a great conference. In retrospect, I do love doing conferences but at the time I just feel so worn out that I'm ready to come home.

I did fairly well seeing as how there weren't a lot of options. Most places in the hotel were overpriced and I had no access to a vehicle. It rained most of the time otherwise I would have walked over to Denny's across the street to at least get salad or something. So, DH and I ended up mostly eating at the sports bar. This meant hamburgers or Philly CheeseSteak. But seeing as how I generally only at one meal a day, I figured it was okay. I also didn't get NEAR the water in that I usually do, so I know that affected my weight as well.

I weighed myself the first morning back and I was up 2#, but after two days of really getting in my water, veggies, and tracking, I'm actually down 1# from my last official WI. Unfortunately I won't get to WI this Saturday as we pick up the kids, but I will weigh myself at home and log that. I'm hoping that by next week I'll be in the 220's --- a place I haven't seen in YEARS!

Happy Monday

Well, it's Monday... what a day. I'm happy to say that I went to WI this last Saturday and I was down 5# from my last WI. Course, they only calculate it from their office (I guess all the WW offices aren't connected computer wise) so for that office I was only down 1.4. But either number I'm happy with. I had WI at another office 2 weeks ago and so that's the number I'm going by.

Anyway, all in all it was a good week. I fly to Dallas this Thursday for work so I'll be gone for about 5 days, but I'll be back and update next week!

Been a while...

Wow! It's been a while since I posted! Sorry about that! I'm doing well.. still in the 30's but hey... I'm still trackinga nd such. But... this week I started a cleanse. To get all the toxins out of my system and get my body back into gear. So, I'll keep you updated on how that goes!

New WW sandwich

I'm so excited! I walked to a local deli at lunch today that's around the corner from my office and while I was standing in line I see what I wanted (I usually get a veggie sandwich though) and saw a hand written sign "Weight Watchers Sandwich - 6 Points" I was amazed! Turns out it's a Chicken Pita with lots of veggies and a NF Chili Lime dressing. It was SOOOOO good! You get the whole pita (the whole round), romaine lettuce, a tbs of avocado and a couple of ounces of shredded chicken. Plus some tomato... it was so good!

This week is going pretty good. My scale is all over the place so I don't know what's up with that. I'm wondering if it needs a new battery or something. It's bouncing around in a 10# range... and all within minutes of each other. Strange huh?

I've done pretty good this week food wise and I've gotten some excercise in so that's good. I really enjoyed the walk to the deli today. I made sure I was walking fast so I could get some activity points in. All total, it was a 20 minute walk. I've gotta dig out my walking clothes and start walking at lunch again, but everything in my house is still packed (long story) so I don't know where any of it is.

DH has a softball game this weekend so I may WI early since Mimy (javaluuver) isn't going to this weekend meeting. Or, depending on what my scale at home says, I may skip and push another week. Who knows. My friend Lisa will be at the game though so maybe she and i will go walking.... doubt it as we should stay and watch the hubbies play.... but we'll see.

I'm craving a chicken salad so I may get something like that for dinner tonight. I have 13 points still... so who knows. Maybe I'll find something and endulge myself... OOOOO! Starbucks!

So excited!

So I'm really excited! After all the stress from last week causing a 1# gain, I was down 2.8 today and I feel SOOOO good! I had weighed at home this morning and it said 233 but I flat out told my scale it was lying to me LOL! I did NOT beleive it!

I just had to do a quick update and let everyone know that I'm doing really well! I also bought the new WW smoothie (strawberry and banana) so I can't wait to try that.
