December

I can't believe it's here already.  The holidays may be tough, but all I can do is try to get through them.

I lost another lb yesterday.  I didn't weigh in the Saturday after turkey day.  I had just gotten into the 150's and I wasn't ready to leave yet.  So I waited until yesterday, and must've done something right if I lost another 1 lb.  I feels good to be getting a little smaller each week. even if I don't notice it directly.

I've been trying on wedding dresses.  It was a ton of fun.  I don't have to wear plus sizes!! And I'll probably have to have it taken in a little more before the wedding.  I'm not ordering it till February, just to try a save a little money in alterations.

Well, off to the elliptical.  Have a great day!!

Day by Day

So I weighed in this morning and lost another pound.  I can't believe I've lost over 26 lbs.  I am now past my halfway point.  This is unbelieveable!  It's a very good feeling to be working this program.  I've been on my elliptical a little more often, and that definitely helps.  I feel good when I get off of it, too.  If I could only make myself get up at 5 every morning, I'd be on it a lot more.  Maybe that will be my new year's resolution, a month early.

Good luck to everyone on the weight-loss journey!  Have a great day!

Hmmm...

It's been almost a month since I've posted.  I'm not gonna lie, it's been a little hectic, but I could've found time.  It just sucks to post a gain, so here goes.  Last week, I  gained 1.8 lbs.  But this week, I lost 4.8, so it was worth it.  :-)

I'm back on track, and gonna lose it all before my wedding.  I set my WW weight for 140, so I'm over halfway there.  135 would be wonderful, though.  Ok, I'm off to shop for smaller clothes.  Have a great day!!

It's me again.

It's been a while since I've been on here, sorry.  With my new job, I'm working all the time, so when I'm not at work, there are things to do around the house.

The good news about the job, it keeps me on my feet at all times.  My weight loss has yet to slow down, and I'm thanking my newly active job for that.  And Weight Watchers, of course.  I can't believe I didn't join a long time ago!!  I'm working tomorow morning, so I made sure to stop by and weigh in at a different meeting this morning.  I lost another 1.2 lbs!  This brings my grand total to over 20 pounds.  And I received my 10% key fob last week.  It's very exciting that I've come this far!  It's been 2 months and 1 week, to the day.  And because I have an extra day on next week's weigh-in, I'm hoping to see at least 1.6 lbs off.  My mom is buying my a new outfit at 165, and I'm so close!!

Well, have a great day, and good luck on the  journey you're taking, whatever it may be.

Wowsers!!!

I know it's been a while since I've updated my site, but it's been a long week.  I was as faithful as possible to WW as I could be, but I seemed to use my extra points differently (spread out instead of all in one day) and I was afraid that would make a difference this week.  I've been working longer hours, different shifts, and trying to clean house at the same time.  Unfortunately, I let me site fall a little to the side.

Anyways....  I was going to use my 'No Weigh In' pass this morning because the scale at home showed no loss, and I didn't feel any better.  My stomach's felt a little bloated, just not good.  But at work yesterday, one of the receptionists from my meeting came in to shop.  When I saw her (although we didn't talk WW), I took it as a sign that I was meant to weigh-in today.  I went for it, hoping for just a small gain, and I actually lost 2.2 lbs!!  I'm not sure how, but this week, I'm going to step up the exercise and try to get back to the Healthy Guidelines as much as possible.  Only .4 lbs until my 10% is met, and less than 35 lbs to goal.  I've lost almost 20 lbs, I can't believe it.  Next week, 10%, the week after, who knows!!  As long as I keep losing, anything's great!!

Yay!!

I lost another 2 lbs this morning.  I can tell the weight loss is going to slow down, so I'm excited about finally getting that elliptical together tomorrow.  But I'm not gonna complain yet.  2 lbs is 2 lbs!!

10% is so close, I can taste it!  Only 2.6 lbs to go!!

Elliptical woes

I did buy my elliptical at Sears on Monday, but it's still in 200 pieces on the floor.  It requires an adjustable wrench to assemble, and I'm supposed to pick that up from my fiance's father's house tonight after work.  I'm off tomorrow, so I really hope to put it together then.  I could be using it right now if it were finished!!  Oh well.

I'm really hope for a loss on Saturday.  I'll be happy with half a pound, I just need something closer to the 160s.  I don't know if my body feels comfortable at 173, but it doesn't seem to be moving.  I'm getting a little frustrated.  Earlier this week, I was a little bad about counting points, but I've become more strict towards the end of the week, and I'm ready to lose this weight!!  I think one of my big problems is this new job.  I'm much busier than my last job, so there are times when I get to the point of being really hungry.  I can't eat my snack every 3 or 4 hours.  I've started carrying Fruities (WW candy) in my pocket so I can chew on something.  Hopefully, once I'm out of this training period, I'll have a little more downtime to throw a carrot or two in my mouth.

Well, 2 more days till weigh-in.  I'll be back then!!

Ugh.

I stayed the exact same weight from one week to another.  How the heck does that happen?  The same down to the tenth!  Oh well, it's better than a gain, I guess.

But the lack of losing has motivated me.  I'm off to buy an elliptical at the Sears Labor Day sale!  I'll let ya know how it goes!!

September already?

I can't believe it's September already.  In Cincinnati, it's actually been a cool week.  In the low to mid 70's.  We haven't seen that weather in a couple months!  Now it's raining, but we definitely need it. I'm tired of watering the grass!

Well, tomorrow morning's weigh-in.  My fingers are crossed, but I'm afraid it's only been an ok week.    I went a little overboard on Sunday, but behaved the rest of the week.  It would be nice to make my goal of 172 that I set for Labor Day.  But if it doesn't happen, at least I was so close.  Halloween's always another goal to aim for.

I also changed jobs this week.  I'm afraid a little bit of the stress factor of the adjustment may hurt my weight loss a little.  The new job is much more active than the last one, so at least I'm getting a lot more exercise!!  My muscles are burning today, especially my legs.  Maybe I just need better shoes.  I'll go shopping this weekend.

Well, I'll be back to report after weigh-in.  Wish me luck!!

Another Great Week

I had another weigh-in this morning.  Lost 2.2 pounds!  I was afraid that my weight loss was going to slow down this week,  but so far, I haven't had a loss less than 2 lbs, except for the one week that I gained .6.  I need to kick up my exercise.  I was really good a couple weeks ago, walking daily.  But it's been so hot, and I can always find something I'd rather do than be sweaty outside.

This week, I'm going to exercise!  I'm going to Sears tomorrow to look at a new ellitical machine.  I really enjoy those, and the cardio work out is what I need.  I have a room emptied out and waiting for one.  There's a stereo and a tv/dvd player, so I can watch a movie or listen to tunes while I'm 'ellipticalling' away!

 Here's to another great week!
