Well here it goes my April madness rant!
My WI tomorrow will give me my final number of what I have to work with over the next few weeks, currently I am 4.5lb under my goal, but I have had flu this week so who knows what the number will be tomorrow.
April is going to be a very tough busy month! James is going to India for 3 weeks on Good Friday at which point I am going to my Mums for the easter weekend. This obviously makes tracking harder just being out of my routine! I am getting my haircut finally though which will be fun (still dont know what im getting done though!).
My Mum had bought me a large Cadbury Dairy Milk Easter Egg which I have budgeted in as best I can. That is the first round of possible weight gain for April!
My next WI (6th April) will not be ideal because it is the Easter holidays I will be working on that day so my meals will not be the same or at the same time as I normally would have on a WI day.
On the 11-14th April James' Mum and my Mum are coming for a visit. That will be a few meals out at least. I have tried my best to make most meals ones I cook myself but to be honest I want to go out too! This is the first time they have met on we should go out nice places lol. The WI (13th April) will again not be comparable as I like because I know we are going to Wagamama for lunch before the WI and I will be wearing my skirt and nice clothes not my WI shirt and trousers.
The next WI will not even be on a Tuesday! James is coming home when I would normally WI so obviously I want to meet him from the airport and have just decided to go to my leaders Monday WI that week. I work Mondays so my food and clothes again will not be WI ones.
That means that my next comparable WI with accurate tracking for the week and the correct clothes and food for the day will be in 4 weeks time on the 27th!!!!!!!
I know that the WIs will give me a general idea of how im doing and I do have wiggle room for gain. It is very stressful not feeling in control for an entire month! Also with James not being here to calm me down when I stress I can see this being an interesting time!!!
My plan is to up my exercise, still an hour a day but 7 days a week instead of 5 if it looks like I am gaining weight quite a bit!
I guess we will see what I weigh tomorrow and get my definate wiggle room number lol.

I have managed to maintain this week woo hoo! I was on 23 points and did 40ish minutes exercise for 4 days (I took Friday off).
I have decided to eat 23 points again this week, but I had only planned 22 a day so I decided to blow the spare 7 on my box of Maltesers left over from Christmas,lovely!!! :D
I am also going to try for a bit more exercise, possibly up to an hour some days and 5 days not 4. Just see what effect that has on the situation.
Today I am very busy at home, I have to do my exercise then shower and get ready. I am going to walk to the supermarket pick up a bottle of milk and some cling film for my baking adventures today.
I am baking Bagels(2.5points) and Pear and Ginger Muffins(2points) and then I am cooking a spicy bean stew for my dinner. Busy Busy.

Well after last weeks weight loss I have decided to eat an extra point and a half per day and cut back to 40 minutes of exercise a day for 5 days (I take weekends off).
I am hoping either this will be a maintain level or a .5lb loss level so that I can still work upto Easter.
I have been cooking like crazy I am loving it, the banana and blueberry muffins were amazing! I cooked my first ever ham and mushroom tagliatelle last night I thought it went well :). For lunch today I am having sweetcorn and spring onion pancakes with bacon and poached egg, for dinner I am having 2 pitta pizzas some happy stars (ASDA Smiley potato shapes) and a muffin. I even budgeted in a snack at work so I cannot be accused of not eating!

Was for absolutly nothing!!!!!!!!! I have lost 4.5lb this week!! How did that happen that is my biggest loss ever by a mile!!! It means I have lost 3.06% of myself this week alone!
I know I wanted to lose more so that I could eat the Easter egg but I thought that would take the four weeks I have losing 0.5-1lb a week!
I am in a state of shock, my leader said she better not see a loss next week lol.
It must of been the exercise doing more than I expected it to????? I have been eating 21 points a day minimum. I am so confused? Howcome when I was on 17 points a day I only lost 1-2 pounds on a good week! It makes no sense. I guess the body is going to do whatever it will and no matter how we try to predict it it will surprise us again and again.
Now at least I know I can enjoy that easter egg and the meals out with my mum and mother-in-law without worrying about going back over goal!

I am having mixed feelings about this weeks WI. My aim was to lose a few pounds over the next few weeks so that over easter when I inevitably gain a couple it will balance out.
I have tracked every single thing that has passed my lips this week and have managed around 21points a day with my maximum being 25. I have got in an hours exercise for my full 5 days and had an extra walk with all that shopping on Wednesday.
So why am I still feeling a gain, maybe it is the mountain of veg I have just eaten for my dinner making me extremely full which was the point as they are 0 points. Maybe it is just me being me who knows?
I guess as ever tomorrow will tell!

Finally today has been a Wednesday I have been wanting! I actually feel like I have done something with my day off.
I got up nice and early got in an hour on my bike while playing a new game on the xbox.
I then made my choc-peanut frozen cookies and chocolate fudge which are both currently setting in the fridge and freezer.
Foodwise I had couscous with a three bean sauce for my lunch and I am having a tomato and mushroom pasta for my tea with a piece of my chocfudge. All that coming in at only 20 points for the day (I am allowed up to 25).
I have just got back from a walk into town 1 mile there 1 mile back. On the way back I was carrying 6 2litre bottle of pepsi max which where on offer, my shoulders are deffinately feeling that!
So all in all today has been great! The rest of the week should follow suit me thinks!

Had my WI tonight looks like these two weeks of celebrating have caught up with me, I have gained 1.5 pounds. I am still at goal though so thats ok.
I am not surprised by the gain in the slightest, I estimated at least 25-35 points this week alone that I did not track not including what I had last week so I am just thankful for only 1.5 lol. My exercise this week has been none existent compared to normal only did 30mins on 4 days rather than 60-90 mins on 5 days!
This week is 100% back to normal I am on 20 points a day with 3 points a day if I do find myself hungry and want a snack (which I shouldn't really).
On a plus note I am really getting back into my cooking! The soda bread at the weekend was gorgeous and today I have baked a banana loaf which I had never tried before, it was gorgeous beyond belief! It comes out at 3 points a slice so I had a slice instead of my 3 point dessert I had already planned so that I am still on track, I have put 4 slices in the freezer to plan for another day and James is taking the rest for lunch :)
Tomorrow I am going to make some chocolate fudge which will be 2 points a piece and some choc-peanut frozen cookies which will be 1.5 points a piece.
I have really got my database up and running, so far I have 44 recipes in it. I even have a star ratings button which I am loving lol. Only baked/cooked those two things so far so the pictures and star rating element is a bit bare but as I cook more I will take the pictures for the database and give it a star rating. I cannot put the pictures on here but if you add me on FB I have a album with my cooking pictures.
Some of the recipes I am planning on having replace the ready meals I have been living off lately, although they are ok meals they are a bit boring and quite expensive. I am looking forward to having proper food for all my meals :D
This week is going to be a good week I can tell!!
