Today has been a washout. I have been sick and I have got hardly anything done, plus I am at home while OH is at a party because I am sick.
Packed weekend ahead as well!
In good news...big drum roll please...I have reached the end of 7 full days On Plan.
I am amazed...I don't think I have done this since before Christmas, and I have never done it when I have felt as stressed out as I have this week.
So refocusing on the 'addiction' nature of this, as I did last week, really helped.
I don't think I am down much weight-wise, I was at the start of the week, but gained a few overnight, which is all water weight - I can see it like a cushion on my stomach and IT IS ANNOYING ME!
But the satisfaction of achieving those 7 days is fantastic, whatever the weight.
So....
weekly evaluation
last week: back to basics
goals - stick to calories: DONE
no added sugar, caffeine or alcohol: DONE
exercise 3.5 hours: DID 2 HOURS 10 MINS - I haven't done any in a while so this was actually pretty good, plus it didn't include a lot of basic daily activity I did
next week's goals
stick to calories
no added sugar, caffeine or alcohol
keep cheese intake down!
exercise more than this week and up to 3.5 hours
Right, I am off to watch soaps on the couch in my pyjamas!
See you all soon, when hopefully I am feeling a lot more civilised and coherent.
Loads of love and have a happy, healthy weekend.

preggos
so i read your post about how u want to be pregnant. Well this is not the time to be worrying about your weight. I remember when I wanted to be pregnant I did not worry about my belly looking a little bit big because I was more concerned about having a baby than I was about a little "pooch" (belly fat). Of course they always say that when you do get pregnant you shouldn't eat for two though so just be careful if you find out that you are pregnant. I ate for two during my first pregnancy (basically ate whatever desserts I wanted and ate a lot anyway) but was very careful about my weight the second pregnancy. I did not gain as much the second time around but it was still high in my opinion. My doctor had alerted me to the weight gain when I was at 203lbs and then I was so careful but not enough apparently because I got up to 220 in my last month of pregnancy but that is also when the baby gains a lot of their weight anyway. There's soo much water too that is why I was bloated.
weldone on your week on target... so proud as i know how hard it is... i dont think i have ever had a whole week without sugar/alcohol/caffeine since i started havin any of them!
thanks for the post you added, you are so right in what you say and you guessed right to, how did you do all that from reading a blog lol must be a mind readier.
the problem i have is, is that i am a trained counsillor(do you know what with all my training i still cant spell that bloody word) and drugs worker so when people tell me that i have to start to talk to people and that i can not save everyone i get very determined that i can and start getting worse with myself. i know what i have to do to change and all the cognativ behaviour therapy in the world coming out of my ears but i am my own worst.
any way thanks again.
p.s i didnt go to the docs i bottled it and made another appointment!!!!!!
p.p.s you look so good in your phot you have done really well.
One of my famous dishes was Spag Bol. Except after cooking the meat and peppers etc I went to the cupboard to get the bolognaise sauce and found we didn't have any but we did have Blackbean Sauce
It didn't work to well I can tell you
It is nice to hear you have got your 'mojo' back and have managed to keep to plan this week. I hope you do see a difference though, that will inspire you even more
Keep focused, you have done so well to get over that difficult period
Thanks for the compliment. I'm in dire need of a new photo on my blog. I'm not feeling very pretty these days, and those pics are getting too old.
Sorry about the cushiony water weight. I actually am having opposite effect. Last week I retained heavily (tom), and this week I dropped like 2 pounds in one day. It was startling. Wonder if I can keep it off for my official weigh-in tomorrow....
Thanks for the get well wish! I'm feeling much better! I'm sure sorry you're sick. Staying home from a party is never fun. (who is OH?) You did incredible this week meeting your goals! Hopefully the successful week boosts your spirits and holds you over till you're feeling better physically.
I so enjoy your posts. My daughter in law is from Manchester and we flew there for the wedding (my son and her are living in Uganda currently) so I have a soft spot in my heart when I see you're from the UK. The people there were so kind and welcoming!
I pray you have a healing up weekend and are feeling back on top Monday!
