Yippee!! it's Friday, and i have a busy weekend ahead of me. What i really see is a bunch of obstacles for the next five days. I'm going out of town to help my boyfriends parents in San Diego. I really hate leaving my routine. Usually  during the weekends i prep and get everything ready for the week, because i'm so busy once Monday comes around. So, what i need is a plan. A plan to stay on my plan...lol i was thinking of coming back a day early and getting everything ready then. And while i'm there i'll be very selective of what i eat. I'm not to worry about exercise since i'm helping them paint and remodel a bathroom. That will keep me moving =) so my goal is to be good, no over eating, and no ice cream...lol

Next week is also my Dr. appointment, i'm going to be very forthcoming with her about me weight loss struggles. I'm looking forward to getting some answers.

On day 6

It's day six and tomorrow is weight in. i weight myself once a week at the same time. I picked Wednesday's just incase i have a little too much fun on the weekends. But so far i have been doing really good. I prep my veggies and fruit for the whole week during the weekends, i portion my cottage cheese and i cook a whole packaged of chicken breast for my lunches and dinners. My boyfriend is deployed currently in the Navy, so i'm lucky that i only have to cook for one.  I've tried all the fad diets and i've been to weight watchers a billion times, so i'm getting off the diet roller coaster and i'm picking a new ride...lol So i'm adopting the eating clean life style. No process food, or very little of it. No frozen dinners, No bland tired looking food...lol basically my weaknesses breads and potatoes. So far i've been doing this for about 6 weeks, i really like it. it works for ME =) I've learned i can live without the starchy bread and eat whole grain or now my new favorite ezekiel. And i really enjoy picking up one of those crazy looking veggies in the produce section that you have no idea what it is or how to eat it, and i try to find recipes of my new mystery food. I also like that my dinners now look like a rainbow on my plate...lol I'm finding out that my new staples are tomotes and bell peppers =) yum. a little creativity can go a long way and you don't have to sacrifice taste...lol sorry i know i just sounded like a bad info. commercial...lol I guess my biggest challenge is missing my boyfriend and turning to food for comfort.

Todays the day

Today is the first day of the rest of my life...lol i know that sounds corny but it's the turth. For the last 7 years i have been struggling with my weight. I have lost and gained 30 pounds over and over. I'm tired of losing the fight. Recently i have gained 17 pounds in teh last 5 months and i absolutely dread the battle. I need more ammo on my side of the fight, so this time i'm going to try to do things differently. I have made an appointment to visit my Doctor next week, maybe she can help. I don't know but i need something. And right now i have no support =( that's why i have turned to here, I'm just looking other that are in the same boat, together maybe we can help eachother reach our goals.
