Is 8 hours the key? Can I make this work??

So here it is my first night on extrapounds.com.  I have read for months now that 8 hours of sleep is the key to weight loss. So why is it that I am up at 11:30 when I KNOW I NEED to be up in 6 hours?? Great way to start my new challenge!!
About me...30 years old, married (to a naturally skinny man) 2 crazy boys (3 & 1) and I am in the Air Force.  These are my 3 motivating factors and my biggest challenges. Who has time to exercise with crazy kids? How do you have the will power when your husband can eat ANYTHING? What do you do when the need to be fit and trim actually sends you into a depression?

UGH! I can feel the anxiety already!!
I don't dream to be a model.  I want to have energy, be healthy, pass my fitness test and learn to love myself again.  Easy, right??

I guess I will see when day 1 starts at
 5:30 a.m. :)
