Who's Got the Cure?

I need help.  Urgently.  Who can provide me with a simple yet effective cure for waking-up-on-the-wrong-side-of-the-bed-itis?  Seriously.  It's a problem.  This morning, I woke up at 6:30 as planned to go to the gym.  I went.  I ran.  Sort of.  I decided to ease my knees back into running, I would run 0.5 km, then walk for a minute.  In 32 minutes, I did 4 km.  Next week, I'll up it to 5 km, and slowly start increasing the distance of my intervals until I am running the whole time.

So that's all well and good, but I got home and was just the biggest cranktastic person ever.  My shower was too hot then too cold, I was sweating the entire time I was drying my hair, I couldn't find the notebook I needed to take into the office and I felt like the flat was a mess and I didn't have time clean it.  Crank, crank, crank.  Of course I vented on poor D and tried not to and then felt bad for venting which made me even crankier.

Did I mention I'm PMS'ing?  That's probably the answer right there.  The cure is time.  In a few days I'll be fine but today I'm a fire-breathing, roaring dragon of crankiness.  My advice to all you souls within breathing distance?  Stay far, far away today.

lol Jenny... dare I say "you're funny when you're cranky"?  please don't be mad.  :-)  I mean it in the best way.  Reading your blog puts me in a good mood.  Seriously, i hope that blogging helped you see the humor in the day because it did me!  some of that very stuff bothers me too!!  absolutely hate it when I'm sweating SO much that even after I get OUT of the shower, I'm still sweating.  Garrrr....

Anyway, I think maybe what you need is a big hug from D when you get home.  Take care Jenny!  SMILE :)

HUGS

I hate those kind of days.  i agree, relax when you can, and if you want to have the flat clean, do it one small area at a time, start with a closet, or you kitchen counter, and spend 20 minutes on picking up that one area.  The time will go by quickly and you'll feel better afterwards with the results of your efforts.

Also, buy yourself some flowers, that always cheers me up!!

Hope your day gets better.

Oh, dear........... those days come to all of us, I guess the only thing to do is to hang on and hope it will be over soon......

Sending you big hugs!

ohhhhhh!

THAT explains it... well then my earlier advice has now changed to:
  • take a nap
  • organize a closet or cabinet somewhere
  • clean something
  • relax with a good book

I know I wasn't supposed to but...

I did start laughing when I read this entry.  I'm pretty much feeling exactly the same today so I recognised the signs!  A couple days and you'll be right as rain x x
