I Hate Weekends!!!

Well what do you know... Leave it to me to mess up!!! It seems like the past two weekends I have done this. I want to blame my DH but I know its not his fault.

Here is what happens at least one or two of the days I forget to eat or we go out to eat. I can't deprive my husband of not going out to eat. How can I let myself forget to eat? How dumb is that? These are  such good questions. I am so strict during the week and usually on the weekends. Then Saturday, it seems that I forget to eat a snack or I miss lunch.

I get to doing something and totally forget about eating. Then he wants to go out and eat... I try to order something small but those resturants give you so much food. It is amazing how much food they throw away. People are straving in places!!! I wonder how bad my body will be messed up from this weekend.

I haven't even at dinner yet. However, I did get breakfast and 1 snack put in my mouth. Then I think we ate out at 3:30... I dont know whether to call that lunch and dinner. I did at least get in all my water all four 32 oz bottles.

Sorry just venting!!! Had to let it out. I have only messed up two weekends in a row.  Next weekend will be better and  I will try not to miss any of my meals or snacks.

AWWWW ....... I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!

Losing These Last 3 Pounds To Get to My First Goal Weight!!

Good Morning All,

Well I have to say this week has been really tough. I try so hard not to weigh until Thursdays but with me being so close to my first goal weight I have been stepping on the scale everyday. I am down to 133. Only 3 pounds to go. Ohhhhh  geesh theses last six pounds to get off are a killer.  I just want to say good-bye to the 30's. and continue on to my next goal weight.

I am finding myself thinking more about my next goal and I haven't even made it to my first. This can't be good!! I am still continuing everything that I did to lose the first pounds. I wished I had started this site a long time ago... Oh well!!

There isn't much more to lose. I can do it!!! Got to be tough!! It is Sunday the beginning of a new week. I wish you all the best  of luck.

Ok It Is Time to Buckle Down

-Hello All!!

I am doing well with my weight loss but now it is time to buckle down and work a little harder. That means its time for me to start blogging and working my butt off at the gym. Even if I have to go alone. It's so hard to lose weight by yourself. But I have to do it.

Tonight I was standing in the living room and my husband says "wow your butt looks smaller" It was the best thing he could have said to me. Made me want to work harder. I did have a big butt. LOL I always said I had a bubble butt. Not no more. The jeans I was wearing he used to hate because they made me look ummmm really fat. However now they are so loose I have to wear a belt with them.

So wish me luck!!!

Update on the Journey to a New Me

Hello Everyone,

Went to my doctor's appointment yesterday for a weight check up. I am down 20 pound!!! Wow I have five more pound to go. Then I will have made it to my first Goal. YEAH!!

Sharing My Journey Losing Weight

I am no expert by all means. Just thought I would share how I am losing weight. I drink lots of water and only water. I started out on a 1200 calorie diet but increase my calorie intake as I continue to lose weight. I will do this till I meet the 2000 calories. I listen to my body and if it feels like I need more fuel then I increase my intake.

Here is How I am Doing It..

  1. WATER WATER WATER ( I drink 3-4 32oz bottle waters)
  2. 1400 Calorie Diet
  3. Exercise (not enough though)
  4. Never skip a meal

8:00 AM BREAKFAST(150 calories)

Usually I eat a Yoplait Yogurt Fat-Free and 1/2 cup of Fiber One Cereal  or I just have a packet of oatmeal.

11:00 AM SNACK (100 to 150 calories)

Snack List (I eat 3 snacks a day)

  • Quaker Granola Bars
  • Quaker packets (NEW) most only 90 calories
  • Apples
  • Yoplait Fat Free Yogurt
  • Jell-o Fat Free
  • Oranges
  • Fruit cups
  • All Bran Honey Nut Granola Bars
  • Any of those packets Nabisco makes
  • Baked Chips Doritos, Lays etc.

12:00 or 1:00 PM LUNCH (250 to 350 calories)

  • Lean Cuisine Meal
  • Subway Turkey Breast Sandwich with light mayo, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes

3:00 PM SNACK (100 to 150 calories no more than 150 calories)

Choose from the snack list above.

6:30 DINNER (250 to 400 calories)

  • Baked Chicken/ Porkchop &  vetegable
  • Lean Cuisine Meal
  • If I eat what I make my family I just count everything that I put into my mouth. I also try to just cook healthy

7:30 SNACK (150 calories)

Choose from the snack list above

I drink water with all my meals. I drink no less than 96 ozs of water a day. If I need something to give it flavor I use a crystal light on the go packet.

Well That is all that I do.  But once again I will say I am no expert. This is just what is working for me. My starting weight was 155.6 on December 7, 2006. My current weight is 136.0. I have lost a total of 19 pounds.

My Journey To A New Me

Hello all !!  I will give little information about me. I am a 31 year old, mother of two and wife. My daughter Paige is 11 and my son Cordell is 9 on March 19th.  Plus I also the mother of two dogs. (A Boxer and Chihuahua)

 Yep!! Pretty Extreme!! Buster is my boxer and the biggest baby of them all. Angel is my chihuahua (well she was suppose to be mine, DH turned her against me) and she is NO ANGEL!! My dogs are just like my children. I love all four of them.  So that is a little about my family.

I have been overweight for the last 4 years. I started to try and lose weight in September. With having very little luck (Lost about 5 lbs).  I had tried every diet known. Then I realized I was doing it all wrong. I need to lose weight but also make it a long life healthy change for my body. So, in December I went to the doctor and got on phentermine, started to watch what I eat, no more pops, sweets, junk food and unhealthy choices.

Wow!!! I have to say that it really gave me the boost I needed. December 7 I weighed 155.6. As of today I weigh 137.4. A total of 18.2 pounds.

Only 7.4 pounds to my first goal weight.   I CAN DO IT

 Baby Steps but I know I will get there....

And that is my story so far.
