WI day today

And I'm happy to report I'm down 2 lbs!!!  Woo Hoo!!  I know it isn't a lot but I'm down 3 lbs in 2 weeks, only 39 lbs to go to get to my 135 goal and only 30 lbs left before I get to my mini goal of 144 lbs.

So I found out that dress shopping is being moved up to either this Saturday or next Saturday.  I'm nervous because I'm the type of dress my SIL is looking for is strapless and I just don't look good in those.  Oh well, I just have to start working on my arms.  I just hope the dress I order doesn't have to be this huge size.  I don't think my self-esteem right now could take that.

1.5 lbs a week

That's my goal until my SIL's wedding in December.  If I can lose an average of 1.5 a week I'll be close to my 2nd 10% and in the 140's.  I'm really hoping I can get there!!

I found out we are going dress shopping Labor Day weekend.  That gives me a total of  31 days to get some major weight off.  I really need to start working out more.  I know that will really help!! 

Wedding date changed!!

No not my wedding date, my SIL's wedding date has been changed from October of next year to December 13th of this year!!  Only 20 weeks away!!  I'm her Matron of Honor so I HAVE to get this weight off so I can look snazy in my dress!!  LOL  So 20 weeks and 41 lbs to drop!!  Well I'll be happy with getting 20 lbs off in that time!! 

Time to get rev'd up!  I have to start taking this seriously!!!

Down a lb!

It's not some spectacular number but its a loss and I'll take it!!  I know I wasn't completly honest this last week with what I ate and what I ACTUALLY wrote down so I'm happy with any kind of loss!!

This week I'm going to write everything that I bite and I'm going to totally stick to Core foods all week long!!  I can totally do this!!  135 here I come!

Starting again

So yeah, I'm back at this weight loss thing again.  I'm just sick that I gained back all the weight I lost after Carter was born but I have to move on and get on with my life.  Don't dwell on the past Jenn!!  Start lossing the weight today!!

So I'm back.  20 lb heavier but I'm here and I'm excited to be back at WW!!  Why oh Why did I ever leave?

  • Offical Starting Weight: 177.4
  • 1st 10%: 160.4 (17 lbs loss)

I'm so ready to do this.  I"m doing the Core program again which I love.  I'm excited to say my MIL is also joining up so I have someone to do this with!!  I hope we both stick with it!!

Surprise!!!

That is what I heard yesterday when Jason and I and the kids went out to eat after church.  There sat my friends and family all wishing me a happy birthday!  I was sooo surprised!  Jason had been planning the party for like 2 weeks and I had no clue at all!!  It was so nice!

And I think I did really well.  I knew we were going there for lunch so I planned ahead and new what I was going to eat and how many points it was.  I stuck with my 2 pieces of pizza and 1/2 breadstick.  But DH had bought a icecream cake and I just can't turn those down, but I didn't even finish my whole piece.  But it was super yummy.

What a great birthday surprise!!

I have a taco salad with FF dressing for lunch today and I'm going walking at the mall, I'm hoping I can burn off a few more calories before my WI on Wednesday.  I'm really striving for that 10% goal.  I want it so bad I can taste it!

Feeling Great!!!

First off, thanks for the f and v advice yesterday.  I've been to the store and stocked up on fresh fruit to bring with me to work. 

It's amazing what a little planning and a little walking can do!  I'm feeling great this morning.  I got up at 6am (with a little help from my 2 month old) Took a nice hot shower, got ready with plenty of time, got my lunch together, bottle all made up for my mom to feed to Carter, Cleaned up the dinner dishes and did a load of laundry before heading to work!  Woo Hoo

I'm planning on walking again on my lunch hour today.  My mom was able to join me yesterday with the kids so that was fun.  I hope she can make it again today.  Just walking for that 30 min really makes me feel better about myself!!  And I can already see a difference on the scale, but I know it doesn't count until Wednesday.

I hope I can keep this trend going! 

Walking

So today I'm starting my lunch time walking at the mall.  I'm going to take my lunch with me (Lean Pocket) and walk for at least 20 min.  WW website its 1 AP.   Heck at least its something. 

We talked at our meeting last night about how important it is to get in alll your water, fruits and veggies and milk servings.  I'm really gonna try hard this month to get all these servings in.

Question though: How do you get in your fruits and veggie servings each day?  Do you drink V8?  Have them as snacks, with meals?  What tricks do you do to make sure you get in your 5 servings each day?

Gain :BLAH:

Only a .8 gain but a gain none the less.  I'm so upset.  I really tried this week.  Well I know I could of tried harder, the french fries and extra snacking didn't help at all.  But I still wrote everything that I ate down, measured my foods and only ate about 15 flex points this week.  Very frustrating!

I really need to start getting in exercise.  Its just so darn hard to find time with 2 children at home that need to be fed, bathed and put to bed when I get home.  I'm just so tired afterwards all I want to do is sleep.  LOL  I'm really gonna try to start walking on my lunch hour.  The weather is still really cold outside so I'm gonna go to the mall and try and walk for at least 15 min each day.  I need to do something.

I know I also need to do better about getting in all my fruits and veggies servings each day, as well as drink all my water.  I think I'm gonna buy some of those water flavorings because just plain water is so boring.

So hopefully this time next week I will be reporting a loss.  Lets all cross our fingers and hope for me!

Mindless Eating...

This is something that I've been really struggling with this week.  Twice this week my husband has brought home fast food from Burger King for himself but a nice sub from Subway for me.  I was so proud of myself for being good and not giving in to my fast food cravings, but I found myself attracted to the french fries from his meal.  I don't even LIKE burger king fries but I found myself just eating away at them.  Before I even knew what I was doing I had eaten about 1/4 of his large fries.   I seriously had to say "JENN, STOP". 

Why when I'm getting so close to my goal I find myself sabotaging my own diet.  Its so frustrating!  I've have been writing down all my points, so I'm just hoping all the good I've done this week trumps all the bad.  I guess we'll find on Wednesday,
