Back at the office
So today is my first day back at work from having 2 weeks off with my mom's knee surgery. While I was off I dropped 7 lbs and I'm hoping I can keep up the loss and good eating at work.
I find that I'm to close to fast food places or Krogers that sells Reeses Peanut Butter cups ( my favorite candy) so I need to have some major willpower to get through the next few weeks. One step at a time.

Remembering 9/11
Today it's so quite in the office. It's hard to beleive that 9/11 was 9 years ago. The images from that day are still vivid in my head and I know I will always remember were I was that day when the towers were hit.
My God bless all the familys involved with the towers going down, victims, police and fire fighters who faught to get people out of the buildings. My heart goes out to all of you.

Down 4 lbs!
Well since I can't put it on my weight log because I haven't weighed in for a while I have to gloat about it somewhere.....
I'm down 4lb this week! I started the week at 190 and now I'm at 186!! I'm so excited.
I'm cut out my snacking unless it's fruit or a low cal yogart, and I've also cut way down on my portions. I can tell my stomach has shrunk and I'm paying closer attention to how I'm feeling.
I hope I can keep this up once I go back to work on Saturday.

Water Add Ins
So I'm back and heavy again.....figures.
Anyway, I'm back to counting calories and I'm sticking with 1200 a day and it's going well so far.
My biggest problems is getting in my water each day. I'm looking for some yummy water add ins that will make the water taste yummy but give me some added vitamins and protein as well.
Any ideas would be great!
Can't wait to check up on my EP friends. Hope you guys have been doing well

Happy Birthday to me!!
Well yesterday was actually my birthday but I had fun celebrating it. We went to applebee's and I got a low cal salad and only ate half of it!! I'm very proud of myself!
Tonight I'm going to work out with my mom again and then Mackenzie has her first gymnastic's class after that. I'm excited since it's her first class. Can't wait to get pictures of her tonight.
Friday is WI!! Can't wait.

I'm Kicking my Ass, do you mind?!?!?!
Well I'm not literally kicking my ass, but I did give it a good work out at the gym last night!! I feel great today! Who would of thought that working out would make me excited and feeling good.
I signed up for a local 5k breast cancer walk yesterday as well. The end of April. It's the 5th year my mom and I have done this walk and I'm excited about it. I really want to run the whole thing but my mom is walking, but I know we'll have fun either way.
So I'm down another lb today. It took me a while to get this lb off, I've been kind of slacking but at least I didn't put any of the weight back on. Only 2lbs to the 160's!!! I'm on my way

So I cheated and looked on the scale today and I'm right around 172! Only 3 more lbs and I'm in the 160's!!!
I love that I"m doing this on my own, not with the help of Weight Watchers, not with the help of pills, just plain ole exercise and watching what I eat. I love it!! I can do this finally!

Woot Woot
WI was today and I'm finally at my first 10% goal!! I actually surpassed it! What a great feeling!
I"m loving this diet! I don't feel overly hungry all the time and I have energy for the first time in weeks. I come home work out on my Wii and feel great afterwards.
I will say this though, If you are thinking of doing the Special K diet, Special K does not have any fiber in it, so make sure you eat plenty of fiber in your other foods. It can really have an effect on your digestive system. I'll spare you the details.

The night before...
The big game. I'm all set and prepared with my fruit bowl all cut up and made and my 7 layer dip made as well. The 7 layer dip is for everyone else, the fruit is for me to fill up on.
So far this week has been going well. I'm liking my diet but I have to either start going to be earlier or finding more fruit to snack on because at night I get the munchies so bad!!! And of course the bad things call out to me louder than the good things. If we even have a few bad things in the house my mind automatically goes to those things and it's all I want.
Anyway, I'm all prepared for the game tomorrow with a game plan and that's what I need! I can't wait to be done with sunday and the unfimilar food around me since we won't be home. I hate the unfimilar sometimes.
