Monday....A new day, a new start!!!

Alas, I've been slacking ever so much on this thing called a diet.  I haven't followed the program in weeks but I'm happy to report that I've managed to maintain with in a lb or two near 161.  But I don't want to stay at this weight forever.  I need to keep going,  I just can't find the drive to get back on plan. 

Does that make sense?  I want to do the diet but my motivation is down the drain.  How can I get back on track and stay there?  I do so well during the day but when I get home and start dinner, I just go down hill from there. 

Its not like I gorge myself at night, I just have 2 helpings instead of one.   The meal is just so  yummy that I want to go back for seconds when I really shouldn't.

I've been bad about blogging and I need to get back into that.  I just wish this diet thing wasn't so hard to keep on track with!

Before you get up for seconds, wait 20 minutes.  Usually you won't even bother.

Good luck getting your groove back.  I think it is all about getting into the right habits and keeping up with your support group (us).  We are all in this together!

I know exactly what you mean

i could have written this post.  I really want to lose the weight, I know exactly what I need to do, but I just don't seem to have that fire anymore that I had a couple of months ago.  Hang in there, and it will come back to you.  Maybe go shopping and try on some clothes that you can wear now but couldn't before, that always gives me some motivation to keep it up!
