The weather has been beautiful here in Michigan!

And I've been walking like a mad woman because of how nice its been outside.  I've easily get in my 30 min of workout a day this week because of how nice it been weather wise!  Jason and I walked with Mackenzie on Friday, Sat and Sunday and we will again tonight and tomorrow if it keeps up.  Let me tell you, it felt awesome getting out there and getting in some exercise! 

I'm hoping this exercise will pay off but I'm kind of worried that it won't.  My birthday was this last Friday and I gave myself a day off.  A day off counting all my points, a day off worrying about how much water I drank....just a day off.  It was wonderful.  I had a piece of cake, and the dinner at Applebee's that I really wanted.  I didn't go crazy and pig out but I sure had more than I should of.  I just hope that my "Day off" hasn't ruined my whole week.  We will see!!  Whatever the outcome this Wednesday, I'm sticking with it. 

Because I know that this is an on-going process, that will have it's up and downs.  That it's ok to have a bad week.  As long as you come back with a strong week the next time!!  :o)

Happy belated Birthday!  I'm glad you gave yourself a day off.  That's important so you don't get overwhelmed.  Your most recent picture looks great...even though I think it was 3 lbs lighter than the one if Feb, you look even hotter than before.  Keep up the good work, it's paying off.

Don't get down on yourself for enjoying your birthday. If there was ever time for a hall pass that is it!

Just keep on walking and it will surely pay off. Some things to keep in mind when you walk.

1) Keep a brisk pace

2) Focus on your breathing

3) Focus on your form, stride length etc

It seems a bit silly but after a while all of that becomes natural. I am getting ready to do my first 5K in two weeks.

it will make up for your birthday day.  Don't worry about having a day off - we need to stay real to ourselves once in a while - the most important thing is coming in here, owning up to it and move on.  Enjoy the good weather - hope you get in more outdoor activities with the favourable climate.

Hey happy birthday!  Don't worry about the day off you took.  You'll do fine!  You were very reasonable with yourself from the sounds of it and didn't go overboard.

Fresh air is nice, too.  It's almost springtime and the sun is coming out!  Yay!
