Energy, Please!

We had a great anniversary last night! The dinner turned out fabulous and the late night romance was even better!!!  

I did really well today. Low cal. bar and apple for breakfast, Chick-fil-a grilled wrap (no dressing) and fruit for lunch, fresh greenbeans and ham for dinner. My one weakness: Starbucks Venti Chai, but I did make it nonfat!!  At least I had it early in the day and had time to work it off.

I still haven't started exercising, but as I mentioned before I work retail and spend 8 to 10 hours on my feet everyday. By the time I get home, I just want to sit and relax. I have got to figure out how to get more energy...

 

I'm Doing It

I am so excited because I woke up this morning, weighed, and I have lost another 2 pounds. That puts me at a total of 7 pounds lost. Way to go me!! I am telling you these pounds are just falling off of me with a few changes from my previously bad eating habbits.

Well... today is my husband and my three year anniversary. We don't have any big plans. We are cooking steak kabobs on the grill and will probably hang out and watch a movie together... that's what we usually do. Don't kill me ladies, but I told him NOT to get me flowers. They just die in a week anyways and then what... I'm thinking some late night romance may be all there is on the burner tonight.

I took the day off (I am a store manager for a major clothing company) and will be running errands all day... oil change, need to buy new comforter and sheets for the bed. I have two black labs (our kids for now) and the little one is only a year. She is still going through the chewing phase and my bedspread looks like a mouse has gotten a hold of it.

Another Day

So, It was just another day here in little old Garner. Nothing too exciting happening in my life except for the fact that I got on the scales this morning and I HAD LOST 5 LBS! Yes, I said it.. I lost my first five pounds and I want the whole world to know that this chica is on the weight loss train for sure this time! No more messin' around! I have cut out soda and all chocolate (my true addiction!! Ever seen The Closer.. I am Kyra Sedgwick when it comes to chocolate). I had two salads today and water, water, water... I struggle with breakfast b/c I want to eat on the fly, but I have some 100 calorie bars I am trying with a piece of fruit, which seems to hold me over.

The Beginning

So here I am starting my Blog about weight loss. Who knew that I would spend so much of my time concerned with NOT eating so much food? I am starting this blog b/c I have been trying to loose weight for about three years, but cannot seem to commit to the challenge and every time I decide it’s not worth it, I gain another 10 pounds. It has gotten so bad that my husband finally told me he was embarrassed to go out with me because I was so big. I have fallen off the deep end and it is loose it, kill myself, or divorce. I don't want to do any of these things, but here I am trying to make a choice.
