two days after my first 8 minute ABS and ARMS workout, i can still feel muscles that i hadn't felt in a long time. it is a good kind of pain. almost like my muscles are waking up.
oh... and yesterday was the first time since october (when i started this new job) that i haven't been hungry all day and done something about it. i wasn't starving for breakfast. drank a coffee cup filled with water instead of scrounging around for something to eat. felt no need for a mid-morning snack. and then for lunch, i didn't eat my chips OR cookies. =)
my daughter makes our lunches on sunday evening for the week. she makes our lunches virtually identical and they are even because she is so keen on being absolutely fair. my little virgo.
then ate a sensible supper last night.
it is almost like i can feel metabolism picking up again. =) i like the feeling. plus i'm strangely not as cold as i was before. as if the blood in my veins is literally warming to the idea of working these tired muscles.
oh & i had forgotten how much my neck muscles would hurt after doing the 8 minute ABS. wow.

yep
2 days later is when you really feel it. My problem has been if I over do it and hurt really bad....I quit....so this time I took it really ....really slow starting out....I had a few painful days....but nothing some advil and a nice jacuzzi bath didn't fix.
They say 5-6 small meals are the best for keeping metabolism reved...I usually have fruit or yorgurt for those inbetween meals.
Thanks for the tip....I usually put sugar free Aqua Fusion (15 cal) in mine when my taste buds revolt against the plain taste, but I ran out and didn't have any yesterday. I have tried crystal light and I just can't stand the splenda taste it has. LOL people thing I am weird b/c I hate splenda, but you know.
Glad you are feeling the natural high we get when we start improving our lifestyles for a healthier one. Its such a great feeling! :)
I hate that! I get it when I run and when I ride my stationary bike, too! Ouch. Well, it sounds like you are on track! Keep it up! What a great daughter you have! I still have to dress my 10 year old in the morning! And yea, I make the lunches. Thats gonna change now! :)
