I feel a lot more confident that I have a couple of pounds down from when I started.  I feel like the hard part is over!  I hope everyone has a great December!

How long does it take?

 

How long does it take to get back on track?  For me almost a year.  Am I in denial or what?  At least I can say I did much better than I have been these past two days.

It's been a while...

Well, I just got back from a month at my grandmother's in Florida.  That was difficult.  I ate horribly, I mean I was down south!  I know that doesn't mean much, but we do NOT have the kind of BBQ they do!  Their ribs are incredible!    Anyways, I have been back on track for about a week now!  So that's a good thing!  I hope everyone is doing well!

Wedding

Jordan's wedding is in a couple of weeks on the 21st.  I am doing well so far.  She is doing an amazing job and looks great in her dress!  Everything is falling into place well!  I leave for FL on the 30th, for a whole month!  It should be interesting.  The only thing I'm not looking forward to is no internet lol.

I have a positive outlook for today.  I usually give in by now... so I think I will do just fine for the rest of the day.  I do well in class on Tuesday nights, so it will be easy.  I just have a tea, and I am fine and dandy.  I hope everyones day is going well!

Day 1 of Biggest Loser

Today is the first day of the biggest loser at work!  Woohoo!  I am so excited!  It is the push I need to do this.  I am so excited!

HARDCORE

That is my word for the diet I have to be on for the rest of my life... basically I can't eat anything lol.  This is what I can't eat: sugar, citrus, fruit, anything fermented like alcohol, pickles, or mustard, yeast, caffeine, juice, nonorganic meats... Let's do this instead...This is what I can have:  water, lettuce, cucumbers, celery, organic meat, asparagus.  Pretty exciting, huh?  Now, this is why I have a hard time!

MONDAY!

It is the start to a new and fabulous week!  Woohoo!  I don't think I have ever been this excited for a Monday.  Only a month to my goal and I need to get on track!  So, here goes!

Self Control

Sometimes, I feel like I have no self control over food.  Why is it so hard?  I just want to go one day knowing I did well.  It seems like the doctor has expectations that are way to high for me... but, at the same time, I have to follow the strict diet, or I have bad consequences.  You would think that would kick my ass into gear.  Hopefully, I'll get the point and do well like I did when she first told me I had to only eat certain things.  We'll see. Wish me luck. 

Why?

Why is it so hard to keep on track?  It's like you eat that one thing that will throw you off, then there is no stopping it... I need to learn self control!  I am going to try to drink a glass of water when I want something that's bad.  It's hard when there is that temptation when people bring food in for everyone at work.  Grrr... but, here's to a new day, and hopefully a better one.  Everyone keep up the good work!
