More Loss!

Tuesday was the 2nd weigh in and I have survived 2 weeks on my diet.  I have to say, I think I have done pretty well.  I have lost a total of 7 pounds and have gone down 1 pant size.   I am very happy about that.   My friend gave me a 7 day  pass to Fit Club and so I am going to go there with her tonite.  I am pretty excited about that.   Time to kick this diet into overdrive and get the booty moving!

Quote

I found this quote and I think it fits the diet process to a T, so I thought I would share:

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore,
is not an act but a habit.

Small Steps

Yesterday I was able to buy a new pair of work pants and they were a size smaller than the ones I bought in the end of November.   That felt great!   My other pants were so big, they were falling off me.  Little by little we move closer and closer to the goal.   All in all, I feel great.  More energy, not dragging some much anymore. Its unbelievable how great you feel when you cut most of the junk food and fast food out of your lifestyle.  Weigh in is coming up on Tueday and I am really looking forward to it!  Crossing my fingers for another loss.      :)

Feeling Great!

Ok, so we are over a week into the journey.  After my first week, we had the weigh in and I lost 4.8 pounds!!   I was so excited to see such a difference.  And all I had to do was change my eating habits.  I was having an issue with always being hungry and then when I ate, my portions were too large.  So what I started doing was eating several smaller meals a day.  I eat breakfast, then a snack, then lunch, then a snack and then dinner.  Eating this way seems  to keep me from starving and over eating.  Plus, I am very happy with the food I have been eating.  Its low fat, but it tastes great.  I dont actually feel like I am missing out on anything.  I even found low fat desserts if needed.   So, I will continue on...and we'll see what the ol' scale has to say next  Tuesday.   Fingers crossed, I'll have another loss.

Doing well so far

Alright, So the last few days have been good.  I have been eating healthy and keeping track of everything that goes in my mouth.  I think keeping track has helped me a lot.  NO cheating this time.   I went to the store the other day and bought all kinds of good things and threw out all the crap when I got home.   If I am eating what I fix and cook, I dont need the temptation in the house.  I have found it kinda hard to drive by those fast food restaurants on the way home though.  I have done it, but its been difficult.  As we all know, when you get off work from a long day, the last thing you want to do sometimes is cook.   But I have surpassed the urge and I'm doing well.  I am already starting to feel better and have more energy!   Gotta keep going!
