Yogurt and Weight Loss

I read an article that eating plain non/low fat yogurt will help me lose weight.

www.webmd.com/food-recipes/news/20050317/yogurt-may-help-burn-fat-promote-weight-loss

So now, I'm introducing yogurt to my diet.  I'll probably eat 3 servings of yogurt per day before each meal.  It's not the greatest tasting of food, but if I eat it before each meal, hopefully it'll fill me up some so when I do get started on the meal, I'll be semi-full so I wont eat as much.  If not, I can always eat it as a snack replacement and toss in fruits and such to give it extra flavoring.

I worked out for about 25 minutes today. not exactly optimal, but I'm just starting, I can't go all out and burn myself out.  I'll slowly increase my work-out.  I only ran on the treadmill, I'll throw in some strength training tomorrow.

I need to lose 5lbs per month if I want to lose 50lbs by my goal date, but I wont stress too much on the timing.  Besides, 5lbs per month seems healthy.

5 lbs a month is reasonable

Yogurt is good and in case you want it to taste better you should try different varieties. I prefer coffee (Dannon)flavor also like to add milk to it to make it a smoothie drink (like something you'd get at a coffeehouse). I dunno if the yogurt has to be plain in order for it to be effective, I heard that the calcium itself helps the weight loss, so milk or cheese would be good as well.
