Before After

Feeling much better today!

Thank you to everyone who has left me comments! I can't tell you how much everyone's input and encouraging words mean to me!!!

I am feeling much better today...just going to bed helped! Any other previous time I probably would have just pigged out until I felt totally guilty....and would then tell myself, well, there's always tomorrow......Now I think, ok but what about today...why should I mess up everything I have already worked so hard for TODAY! I am pretty proud of myself for controlling myself.....something new to me! Sad huh!!!!!

Ok, I'm off to have lunch...yum, JC Beef Chow Mein!!

love, Jen

So glad you're feeling better!

Doesn't it feel great getting up in the morning after saying no to a a night time pig-out?     Woohoo!  So proud of you!  I am in the process of teaching myself that same mindset.    And you know what?  You are so right, Jen: why should we mess up what we have worked so hard at all day long?   Why let 10-20 minutes of hunger or nerves make us binge and spoil it all when it starts getting early evening or night?

Girl, I would literally turn from Dr. Jeckyl into Mr. Hyde where food was concerned! LOL.  All day long I would do so good, determined not to eat in the evenings, then come 6 or 7:00 when Ryan got home, I suddenly changed into this whole other person, and all I wanted to do was go out with friends and eat or sit home and eat!!  Then, the minute the pig-out was done, I couldn't stand myself.  No more of that, I swear, no more!  I am more determined than ever to get control over that urge.  I've found if I just hang on for those 20 minutes or so when a night craving hits, it actually passes!  It seems like an uphill climb but boy is it ever worth it the next day!  Self-esteem wise and weight wise!

Hope you had a super evening and so excited you kept control!!
