Feeling a little down tonight......
I'm not totally sure why but I am feeling a little down tonight. I try not to look at the big picture of my journey but sometimes it's hard not to. I feel like I am never going to get there and I'm losing soooo slowly it seems like. Hmmm.......
I am also kinda bummed because I thought I was retaining water because of TOM but my scale doesn't seem to be moving at all! How long do you usually retain water?? I have no freakin idea. I have had crazy cravings all day too...I just want to eat everything! Thank goodness I resisted but dang it was hard. I just want a big bowl of unhealthy cereal, why you ask, I have no clue why. I can't stand it when I feel like this. What to do.......I guess I will just go to bed and hope that I am feeling much better in the morning! Alright, that's what I'll do.....nite :) Jen

You can do this!
Hi Jen. I hope those cravings have passed for you. You have done so well in losing those 21 lbs! Just get to 200 next and breathe a sigh of relief and catch your breath for the next 20! You will be so happy then! You'll be at 140 before you know it!
All the best,
Sydney

I know exactly how you feel!
That crappy feeling where you just feel down ( and you don't really know why) and want to eat that happens to me too. I know exactly what you are going through. Darn I hate it when that happens. Usually I wake up feeling better. I hope going to bed helped b/c I find if usually does. When I feel down now instead of reaching for the cookies I make a tea or have a pop and cuddle on the couch with my favorite blanket. Or I lie down in bed and rest a little while. Hope you are feeling better.

motivation...
It's amusing how easy it is for us to gain focus and then be ovewhelmed by what we see. Try not to look at it over such a long period of time and give yourself "mini-goals" to achieve and remember to reward yourself when you achieve them.
This is the runners mentality - if you look to the finish line you can't see the end - but you know its a long way - if you look a couple hundred feet in front of you you can see the goal - and it becomes easier to accomplish...
Keep up the good work and stay positive - remember that water weight (when retained) will eventually go away -
