exercise

If someone had told me 2 months ago that I would fall in love with exercising, I would have laughed and called them crazy.  Not anymore, I actually look forward to my workouts, and have not missed a one in the past 5 weeks, which is good because in the past I would be really good for about a month, and then get bored or make up some excuse about not having time and give up.

Now if I could only get over the food cravings and temptations....

Thanks for the advice, I'm actually in my first week of trying both suggestions, but I'm really glad to hear that it has worked for someone else, because honestly the extra calories thing just sounded crazy, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for Monday my next weigh in!

cool!

That is so  cool that you are loving exercise. That will make all the difference. Even if you don't loose a pound, exercise will make you heathier!

Of course you want to loose pounds and I totally relate to being discouraged about the scale not budging.

I have two suggestions to share, which you might already have on your mind but just in case.

First, take your measurements every two weeks or so. Sometimes those can go down before the scale does.

Second, maybe you need to eat more. I was on a 5 week plateau once. I was eating about 1200 calories a day and exercising 5 days a week. I had just boosted my exercise up and that is when the scale stopped moving. After awhile, in desparation, I tried adding a couple of hundred calories a day and POOF the scale started dropping. Crazy bodies!

I agree

Be sure you are eating enough... like they say, we need to eat to lose weight.  Shake things up both calorie-wise and exercise-wise.  Measuring is a great idea also!!
