Run and kick miracle, once again
I had forgotten how empowering a good workout could be to me. These days i am crushed between school stress and some personal hardships. Feeling low, tired and beaten up had become a regular feeling. This afternoon, after meeting with my advise, i came back to office and all i wanted to do was to lie down and sleep. Instead i went to gym. I strated to walk/run on the treadmill with the ipod volume on max. The first interval of run was tough, i had pain on my ankle and chest, so i switched to a power walk uphill. Boy it was great. I was jogging uphill with a fast tempo in my head. I could feel the heat beneath my skin. The amazing miracle of running statred to kick in. I was there, i was running , i was STRONG. No one and no workload in the world could bend my knees. I felt i had the power to face anything that might come up on my way. What an amazing relationship between the body and the soul. I ran the last 5 minutes of my workout nonstop. It added up to 2 miles and more than half of it was uphill walk.
Then i decided to go to the cardio dance class and just stay for the beginning stertches. To my surprise instead of the cardio dance, there was the kickboxing class going on. Hooray! I stayed and took the class. I'm physically tired now, but feel amzingfly fresh and energized.
