There's a decrease in the amount of leptin, an appetite-suppressing hormone, when a person gets too little sleep. At the same time, ghrelin -- a hormone that stimulates appetite -- increases with a lack of sleep. Ref: here

  • A small bowl of oatmeal or cereal with low-fat milk
  • Yogurt with granola sprinkled on top
  • Half bagel or crackers with peanut butter, 1 ounce of cheese or a slice of deli turkey on top

It is not the best time of my life, though. So hectic...... I just wanted to ask you for a favor. One of my committee is at UIUC. I wanted to see if you can buy a coffee and take it to his office as refreshments, hahahah.
