New motivation
So I seem to have been slacking the past 2 weeks or so. I was visiting my parent's house for a week because it my son's spring break. While there I got an AWFUL cold and was more sick than I can remember being in at least a year. I did manage to work out 2 of the days I was there but then not again until today. So that's clearly not enought cardio in 2 weeks time.
Plus - I thought I'd gotten down to 188 while there but I've consistently been at 190 since being home so I'm thinking that her scale just reads 2 pounds lighter than mine.... maybe I should get a new scale ;)
Regardless.... I working out on the treadmill this morning and am feeling healthy again. I have no excuses and I'm ready to REALLY get to 188 - even on my scale, haha :)
Also - I made a commitment to Rachel that I'll work to reach a goal with her of being able to RUN 3 miles without stopping in 9 months. That's a huge goal for me since I haven't run since I was probably a sophomore in high school and I graduated in 96!! Cheer me on folks - I'll need the encouragement, I promise you!!!!
