Ok, so I wrote everything down I have consumed today. I am not going to let this get me down - I can not. I have come so far with 40 pounds and will not look the other way. Back on track. This is the hardest time of the year too - Thanksgiving and food and then Christmas and more food, then you have New Years and more snack food...blah, what's a person to do.

Back on track, back on track.

I wrote down what I have eaten today - 1 yogurt 3 points, 1 banana 3 points, 1 ww muffin 3 points. 1 serving 0 point soup -0 points, 1 iced tea 3 points. That was 12 points before dinner. My points are 29 per day. So I can have 1 small hamburger - 93% lean beef - no greese used to fry it in and 5 baked french fries and 1/2 bun. No mayo and no cheese with tomato and mustard only. That will use about all 29 points.

No more being lazy either. I did get out and walk 20 minutes fast paced (cause it's cold outside).

Comments(1) 371438 Wednesday, October 31, 2007 22:04:12 41 pounds gone but not forgotten http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/jandv/comments/370199/41-pounds-gone-but-not-forgotten

I weighed in today and have lost 41 pounds now!! I did not do so good with my eating. I ate what was available and what was brought to the family. I just new I had gained 10 pounds. I weighed this morning and actually lost 3 pounds. I was shocked to say the least.

I am not doing WW currently - but plan to get back on it asap.

I am still counting my points though starting back today.

I have had 1 serving of low fat, low cal oatmeal. I will have a banana later and a bowl of healthy soup - low salt and fat.
Comments(2) 367455 Thursday, November 1, 2007 00:03:07 Got to get back on track http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/jandv/comments/365130/got-to-get-back-on-track
Ok, I have been losing weight, but now I am getting comfortable with my weight and that IS NOT A GOOD THING.... When I get comfortable with my weight I tend to stop trying and end up gaining the weight back. I have noticed that I am not walking like I should - I only did 2 days last week - I was not feeling good, but that really is only an excuse. I have stopped tracking what I eat - thinking I can do it all in my head - which I found I can not do. I havent posted to this blog as often as I used to - to put down my thoughts and feelings each day. So, getting comfortable is certainly not a good thing. I have so much further to go....

So, yesterday I ate a good breakfast - yogurt and a 3 point ww muffin. Lunch was a banana and 1/2 bowl of 0 point progressive soup. Then yesterday afternoon I had some baked chips - about 4 points. So I had 10 points. Dinner last night was a splurge for sure - I had Chinese food. I did not go over board, but Im sure I at more then 19 points worth. It was so good though. Today I am not going to eat a lot and going to get in a good walk. I had a yogurt - 2 points and a banana 1 point for breakfast. Lunch will be a 3 point ww muffin and 1 point soup. Tonight, probably ff hot dog on bun - that will be about 5 points total.
Comments(0) 365130 Tuesday, October 30, 2007 22:02:09 Getting there, one pound at a time http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/jandv/comments/364478/getting-there-one-pound-at-a-time
Well,

It seems like this is taking a lot longer then it should. But then I stop and realize you only get out of it what you put in to it. I dont do a lot of cardio exercise, for one, it's hard on my knees and my back so I avoid it. I do a lot of walking which is just fine for me. I know that 1 or 2 pounds coming off my butt at a time is better then 5 or 6 pounds going on my thighs...LOL

Anyways, my eating this weekend wasnt what I wanted it to be, I wasnt feeling good so I did not get all the walking in last week. I only walked 2 days the whole week...but back to it this week. I craved chocolate last week and sweets and I wanted to eat everything in the house. I had a couple of the ww snacks and some yogurt and that more or less curbed the craving. I cooked the family shrimp last night - fried of course - I had mine boiled, but I did sneak one tiny piece of fried shrimp and it wasnt as good as I remembered it - way too greasy.

I am back at it this week - have big plans for the weekend so I have to save all my extra points for Saturday :-)

Comments(1) 364478 Tuesday, October 30, 2007 22:00:07
